Doesnât include screws
I should have paid more attention that it didnât say âincluding screwsâ. Not a huge deal but for someone without easy access to a hardware store may be an issue.

Cannot function as illustrated!
The illustration purports to show the hasp able to rotate down over the fixed "staple". However, because the hasp is offset from the rotational axis, the hasp cannot rotate into securing position - the "slot" in the hasp is not long enough to allow for the rotation. There are some places where this limitation would not matter, e.g. perhaps some installations on a sliding door, but the illustration showing it securing a rotationally closing door is impossible.
