They do look relatively real.
And they're great for my kids who were obsessed with fried eggs for a couple months and we didn't really have any decent "play" eggs, but because they look realistic and most food sets for kids don't they stand out like a sore thumb when you look at all the other things the kids are playing with. It has made me consider whether or not I want to go ahead and get realistic fake foods beyond just some fried eggs but I haven't actually taken that plunge yet.
