I LOVE this game so much. We were so excited to see it on the switch after having to dig up the wii-u every time we wanted to play.This game is a friendship ruiner. I know people say that about Mario party, but no. You *can* play a nice game of Mario Party.This game is *designed* to pit you against each other, mechanics are built so you are actively losing out if you don't mess with *somebody*. And no, you can't just make a comp 1 to mess with... They will destroy your *everything* if you do.So yeah. Love this game ❤️The facts: what you have here is a board game/Rpg.You move around the board fighting monsters to gain levels, increase your stats, and save towns. Along the way there are insane NPCs to help or hurt you, or to give you quests. Combat is simple rock paper scissors, with results skewed by stats.The NPCs and quests are comical but generally simple, usually a 'bring this item to X" or "hunt specific monster."The gameplay is simple enough you could probably play with small children, but it's not suggested. Excellent for drunk adults.The humor is cute, everything is fairly cartoony, and I think it's the charming, zany atmosphere that makes it fun (nothing like getting kidnapped by aliens and having to wait a round to find out of that's a good thing or a bad thing)

This is the board game that will show you who someone truly is. It's more cutthroat than Monopoly. More destructive than Sorry. Shows more greed than even the hungriest of hippos. You will betray, backstab, and sabotage everyone you play with... and they will do the same to you. Not only will you and your friends do your best to destroy one another in this game, but the game itself seems to actively screw you over as well for good measure. It's amazing.Play story mode for best results, though it will take multiple sessions to get through. I think we finally managed to finish our first game of story mode at around the 65 hour mark. Don't let the cutesy graphics fools you, this game is meant to make you hate each other.

A board game that your family can enjoy together and pick up and put down as needed. Even my three year old loves it and gets into it.

When I was much younger I bought Dokapon Kingdom for the Wii and since then it's been one of my favorite games to play with friends. I'm glad to finally get an HD rerelease for switch where you can tell a LOT of work went into recreating the game. I'm really hoping for some sort of DLC or expansion to the game to come at some point, or at the very least a sequel. For now I appreciate the hours (and hours!) of joy having this rerelease has brought me.

I missed out on getting this back when it was on the Nintendo Wii so when I learned it was going to come out again on the Switch, I had to get it. I'm not kidding about RNG, sometimes you get lucky, other times you don't and you better hope you don't drop something you really needed since you get punished for losing. Or forgiven. If your opponent is merciful enough.But it's fun. I'm a huge fan of these party-like games which is why I had to get it.

I like the game, but they censored it in silly ways. Such as not being able to change opponent names when there is a general word filter on it.Plus it is on Steam now in case you don't want to pay Nintendo for the privilege to play online.

I bought this to play with my wife and it's basically her game now lol. I used to play this at a friend's house on the wii years ago so I had to try to relive that with my wife and at first she wasn't sold on it but we've been playing every chance we can and it's just been super fun. It's lik playing final fantasy and Mario party at the same time and you can dump hours into it and not even realize it. 10/10

Holy yeppers this is the same game. Very simple very fun board game. If you've never played it works best with people you live with because even a single proper game can take a very long time. But it has lovely surprises waiting for you over the course of the gameplay.

I hate my friends. Game made it this way. 10/10 would hate more friends if I had anymore.

This game bullies me so much and makes me hate my friends.It does live up to the internet reputation it has and the game is still fun so 5 stars.

It is so much faster paced than Mario Party, and that's a good thing! Very fun with friends! Online seems to work very well!
