Brilliant
I liked everything about this book its quick paced, tense, different POV's. There were so many different threads of the plot that kept your interest and I was glad that the ending didn't get really silly.

pretty pretty pretty good.
I feel like I’m on high alert when reading a thriller and I do feel I detected a culprit early on which is annoying as a reader , however the writing style and differing POVs makes this a fantastic twisty and fast paced thriller. I’d recommend for sure. 4/5 stars for me.

Absolutely brilliant.
Spoiler free review.Listened to 70% and read 30%.10 hours of the most intense plot, with so much suspense I’ve read/listened to in a long time. Maybe ever.Local Woman Missing now one of my top books. It is the most gripping read I swear.… From the prologue I was just consumed. Then straight to part one I was like is this the same book.. what is happening I had to go check. This book has a few pov. Which is why I had to go check and the narrows are different. Which was actually amazing because I can’t tell them part. Even with the name heading on each chapter I sometimes get lost but with this book I didn’t once. I thought the formatting and the writing was flawless.Just a brilliant story. Unlike anything I thought it would be.The twists were just shocking.I had so many theories throughout reading and I got them all wrong.I did find myself also not wanting to know because I was enjoying the story so much lol. When a local mother and her six-year-old daughter, Delilah, suddenly vanish, their close-knit suburban community is rocked by fear and suspicion. How could such a terrible thing have happened in their small town?*Past and Present

Good book
The book was an interesting read, I agree with another reader who described the side stories in the book as going nowhere, some were just irrelevant. Admittedly good plot twists, however was easy to start guessing after that initial plot twist. Would recommend.

good read
I really enjoyed this book. The story was really good, had me gripped from first couple of chapters. Didn’t work out the ‘twist’ until nearer the end and certainly didn’t see it comingSeemed a little far fetched though or it would have been a solid 5!

Excellent read
I was gripped by this book straight away. It was fast paced and I wanted to get to the end to see the whole truth. The storyline is of course somewhat unrealistic but that didn’t matter to me. I enjoyed it anyway.I will be reading others by the author.

Good story
The title intrigued me.Eleven years ago, Meredith and her daughter (Delilah) go missing after leaving her son, Leo at a sitter’s house. Josh, husband and father returned home to find she’s left. The neighbours are shocked and a search takes place. There is another woman in the neighbourhood who has also gone missing. Are they connected in any way?Bea and Kate are good friends and reach out to help search for Meredith and Delilah. In the meantime a body is discovered, which is not Meredith’s.We are brought into the present day and Delilah returns on her own, stating she’s escaped from her kidnappers, but Leo now 11 years older doesn’t believe it’s his sister. The novel is written from the eyes of Meredith, 11 years ago, Leo in the present day and Kate the neighbour. It had you wondering from the start of what happened to Meredith and the tension builds. Is she being followed and her job as a kind of midwife takes her away from her family all hours of the day and night.I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from this author. Would have got 5* but I felt the first part was difficult to read (written through the eyes of a young girl).
