I installed this on a solar project, the wires are tinned (soldered on the ends), and a good length, it's solid and the connections are nicely marked on the bottom of the unit.

WORKS VERY WELL

The voltage off this device is very stable under heavy load and seems reasonably efficient with adequate heat disipation in an normal environment

Needed to stabilise the voltage from my wind turbine, has worked well so far, 10 - 27v in, 12 1v out. Perfecto.

Used it to stabilise fluctuating voltages in my off-grid electrical system to power sensitive electronics. Works really well.

I'm using this to power an Echo Dot from the leisure battery in my motorhome. Easy to wire up, works very well.

Tried to connect. Just get heavy sparking when wires are touched to connect. Does not obviously support 48v input. Not happy.

Input was 13.1v and output showed 12.4. As soon as I applied draw the output voltage dropped to 9v.
