Fruit of the Loom Men's Underwear Classic Slip - 3-Pack

Well, I'm about to buy another batch, so I may as well review them!These are nice briefs. The material is reasonably thick, decent quality cotton, with a well-made soft waistband and leg holes, which makes them a lot more comfy than some. No label either, which is great. They fit me very well, although I am quite skinny with small hips - I wear a 30" waist and 32" leg in jeans, and get these briefs in medium, although I have bought them in small in the past too. It must be said the colour ones seem a little more prone to shrinking in the wash, so certainly for these you may need to size up. Most of mine are the white ones and have a nice low-waisted fit, snug but comfy. There have been a couple of rogue pairs over the years which have had loose threads after washing, but most wash well and last 3 or 4 years or so before they start looking tired. 4.5 stars due to the slight shrinkage, rounded to 5.I am a bit surprised how several reviews say these aren't comfy, I wonder if some guys are buying the right size? I grew up wearing these briefs, apart from a short period in my mid-teens when I insisted on having boxers instead, the expensive ones with the brand on the waistband. Unfortunately this was about the same time that skinny jeans were brand new in, and those boxers were horrible with them - bunching up, sticky in the summer - so within a few months I was back in briefs, and never mind the fashion. Still am. So they might not be fashionable (though to be fair my other half quite likes me in them!) but I can't see why they aren't comfy for people who buy the right size. Guess it's what you're used to.

I am building up quite a collection of men's underwear that fills up a box labelled "Doesn't fit". These days I have discovered, to my cost, that most underwear seems to be made in China. This shouldn't be a problem but I think they must use different tape measures to me. It's very frustrating — even if they have size charts for their L, XL, XXL, etc. it makes no sense as my actual waist measurements are nowhere near what the charts often suggest. I have ordered sizes as large as XXXL and they've still come up small.Before you tell me that it's me with the problem, I can assure you that my body size should be classed as 'large'. I used to buy Sloggi underwear years ago and 'Medium to Large' was fine. However I find that now I have to order sizes that should frankly be too big... and even then I usually struggle to get into them! I do not return the items that don't fit as I am not sure if it's appropriate with such an intimate product, so I have built up a collection of uncomfortable underwear!At last, these "Fruit of the Loom" mens' slips are about right. I ordered the XL and they have plenty of room in them (even to the point where I think I might get into the 'Large' size). The material is said to be pure cotton and it certainly feels very soft and comfortable. Therefore I am pleased with these pants and will probably buy more when I see how they fare after washing.Good, well made, soft and comfortable and good value... it's all I really ever wanted, but it has been surprisingly difficult to achieve up until now. Very pleased.

It's been very hard to find simple pure cotton underwear which does not have a wide elastic waistband which inevitably and irritatingly features a makers name / logo, but at last I've cracked it! The quality and price are great, and my only comment is that the size seems to come up rather small: I've worn size L underwear for many years and I haven't changed shape (really!) but in this case I found L to be be too small and had to order XL. A pity you can't return underwear but no big deal, and the Sally Army got a pack of 3 unworn size L out of it!

I am familiar with this brand name and bought these under wear because they are 100% cotton and I'm happy with the price.They arrived in a really attractive glossy box which looks premium.When I opened it up the under wear was exactly how I imagined them to be, which feels good, fits good, and well made etc...This is the first time I've bought under pants in this brand name which has further impressed me.My waist is 41 and the XL (39/41 UK size) was perfect and neither tight nor loose, but just right.I am pleased with these high quality under pants and would buy them again.Unfortunately there is nothing negative that I can think of because they are so good!

These are well made, quality pants, and essentially a decent fit in most respects.Problem is that they haven't used enough material at the front (the hammock) so that a gap resides either side rather than making a proper seal against your groin with the elastic, as it were.I bought quite a large size and i'm not 'huge' in the trouser department by any stretch of the imagination. So methinks they're either skimping on the material, or just not designing these for real people.

Good underwear. Good cut. Comfortable.Have purchased before and will purchase again.
