Which vent size would you do least noise reduction as I'm playing with a drummer I want to be able to here him quite wel also ?

You can either get them with or without a vent. The sizing has nothing to do with the vent, but the actual size of the plug to fit in your ear. There is a size chart on the pro plugs website. If they are vented, the vent is roughly the size of a pin hole.

How do I know what size should I be buying please?

I think we looked at the size chart online. Didn’t last long as the nylon cored snapped and they were lost.

Do people notice them?

I have been wearing these for months occasionally at work and every time I go out dancing and no one has ever noticed them.
