Does what it says
Good product, does what it says, easy to apply, but you must keep on top of watering. It doesn’t go as far as it advertises, I would suggest 60-70% of the coverage, albeit I may have added it thicker…

Always reliable
It’s great for repairing the dried patches of lawn that appear on our poor quality lawn on a new development. Just water regularly.

Great way to repair lawns.
Needed to repair lawn and found this product perfect to do the job. Easy to apply and can see the results within ten days.

Very effective - but kind of pricey for what it is
I had two problem areas on my 1 year old lawn; one, an area around one edge where the soil had baked in a recent (and big!) heatwave, killing all the grass in a roughly 4ft square area - and a couple of dinner plate sized patches where a fox had kindly peed on the lawn - murdering the grass and making the place smell of fust (ahhh, nature).I didnt really know what the best product to go for was, but as this was kind of an "all in 1" I thought Id start with this; and I have to say Im really happy with it; the grass was sprouting within 3 days, the patches "filled" in 2 weeks (though the grass was still very tender and could easily be pulled out with no resistance for up to 4 weeks. (I tried going over a very small area when mowing the lawn - it just tore the new patch right out the ground and I had to re-retreat it!)8 weeks later though, its as though there was never any damage. The only thing that makes it stand out as being "repaired", is that in the two treated areas, the grass is a significantly lighter green and the blades are notably thicker (though my guess is that the seed used in this is a different grass species to my original turf - and that over time, as the lawn continues to mature and seed itself, this will blend out a bit so will be less striking). Personally Im not THAT bothered by this - it looks a damn sight better than the dead brown! but in hindsight, I would maybe have tried to scatter some of this into the healthy lawn too, so the new and old grasses blended less obviously. Meh. Point is, might just be worth checking your grass species if this sort of thing is likely to wind you up!My ONE tiny grumble is that for the cost, you dont get a huge amount, but then you are supposed to use this as a patch treatment - not a full lawn cover; its just that if you have a large lawn or several patches to treat it could turn out quite costly. That being said, for small patches I would 100% recommend it, and I wouldnt hesitate to buy it again if another fox incident occurs!

It works!
I have used Magic Grow a couple of times having seen it used on one of the daytime tv programs. It works! Simple to prepare the ground, keep damp and the coir soaks up the water. Initial growth seen after four or five days and within a week the new grass patch looks good.Don’t worry about some seeds showing ‘above’ the coir when it settles, there’s plenty below to start growing. As we have (too many) leather-jackets (yes I use nematodes) we will no doubt need to buy some more Miracle Grow in 2023 - no hesitation in doing so!

It’s a miracle this grows
Got a couple of packets as we have a dog who likes to go anywhere in the garden. Filling holes in what was a plush lawn has become a favourite past time - the Coir just makes it easier to spread and looks like is germinating quite well - will have to let you know what the coverage is like in the Spring!

amazing product
Last year I did quite a few patches with this product, and it worked well, after this year's drought, when the lawn ended up looking like coir matting, when it started raining, the patched areas have come up the strongest, very lush indeed, so I will scarify next week, and do all the non-treat patches, so buying in a much larger quantity is great value, I can really recommend this product
