I have used this multiple times, and I can easily find the studs if I follow the directions and do not try to rush the process. Quality product at a good price.

Took some time for me to figure out how to work this. I live in a old house and I’m pretty sure the studs are all over the place and they are in sets of two instead of one long piece. But it found them fast. I like that it can find wood, metal, brick and whatever else. It’s very accurate and durable.

Don’t buy this. Would possibly locate a stud but then not pick it up again. Very random on what it picked up and the location.

Overall, I’m not crazy about this stud finder. It works decent on smooth walls for finding wood and metal studs. The wire detection also works very well. However, if your walls have any sort of texturing, even if the texturing is not that deep, the stud finder does not, indicate where the studs are it also seems to be finicky with being calibrated overall, I would not recommend this product to someone else I would say spend a little bit more money and get a better stud finder
