Does NOT work with PS5.
Did not work on my PS5. The blue light turns on, but the PS5 does not detect it. Waste of money. Do not buy this.

An excellent to light pipe audio device
I hooked this up to my Nvidia Shield TV as my TV only has an optical audio output and this thing correctly connected to my soundbar for an excellent audio experience.

It's alright in a pinch.
You are probably better off getting an actual sound card or motherboard that supports toslink, if your intention is to use this with a PC. The sound quality is degraded and somewhat defeats the purpose of this type of connection.

The media could not be loaded. This product works well when used as stated in the product listing. It doesn't work well when you don't follow the recommendations in the product listing. Naturally I tried it in a way which is not recommended in the product listing.As stated in the listing:" Please connect Speaker. Connect Amplifier is not recommended, Because No strong audio decoding ability." Having read this, and I understood this, I naturally connected this to the SPDIF input of my quality name brand stereo receiver/amplifier. It is a good receiver, really it is. When I used this device to connect the USB of my computer to the SPDIF input of my amplifier I found there is a noticeable noise from the SPDIF input. This noise goes away when I unplugged the SPDIF cable.I am confident that this noise is coming from this device. I tried the 3.5mm analogue audio output and connect it to my computer's speakers. This works great, no issues at all.The product works as stated in the listing: don't plug it into an amplifier.The 'video' I included is just of me holding my phone close to the speaker of my stereo. The SPDIF noise is not loud but it is noticeable towards the end of the video.The packaging is good, it includes a triangular quality certificate with a QC Pass stamp by #12.It doesn't need much in the way of instructions. You plug it in and it works; unless you connect it to an amplifier. The instructions on the back of the box are good enough.

Decent little cheap adapter
Got it to connect my laptop to my reciever which only takes optical input for 7.1. did the job

LOUD USB AUDIO WHEN STARTUP
Does it work? yes. Does it scream, "USB AUDIO" when powered on? YES! WHY DOES IT NEED TO DO THIS! My calm mornings are now fraught with screams of "USB AUDIO". Do NOT recommend. Find another product that isn't rude.
