Really Impressed, Great Product
Nobody wants to unblock a drain but if you are reading this then join the club. I too had to embark where no man or women should venture and I was reluctant to call the experts and watch my money go down the drain (see what I done there!!!).So off to Amazon I went to see the DIY solutions.I was tempted to buy drain rods but I noticed jet hose solutions that could fit my Karcher washer. After reading loads of reviews I opted for the XZT L04Kar that comes supplied with a Karcher Adapter..What I liked about this product over the various alternatives was that this version had a screw fitting to the Karcher Adapter. Other reviews for alternative jet hose drain cleaners had noted that the simple push and twist adapter solution on those products leaked and lost pressure, so I was pleased to find that the XZT was an excellent fit for my Karcher K6 washer. They also supply plumbing tape to ensure perfect leak free fitment from the hose to the Karcher Adapter. My drain had been blocked for at least a week so I was keen to try this product out. I found a tip on a YouTube vid that said to uncoil the jet hose out completely so it is free of kinks. This will avoid the hose twisting up on itself when in use.Second tip - make sure you have fed the jet hose within the drain 'run' at least a foot, as in my case it will fling itself out like a missile. To use simply feed in the hose and power the washer on. Your mileage may vary but my Karcher K6 has fantastic pressure and the jet hose drain cleaner easily fed itself along the drain until I had no more length to give. Once in full length I pulled the hose out a few inches and let it fed back in. I kept doing this back and forth motion, slowly inching the hose back out.Depending on your blockage I had to manually scoop out all the yuck (it does stink) in to a bucket. You will be lucky if the blockage is freed first time. To be honest I though this was not going to work but I repeated the process many times and it did eventually run clear.Don't give up if it seems not to be working, I spent at least an hour running the jet hose back in and out but a clean drain I did have at the end so all in all well pleased.Once more tip - buy long sleeved rubber gloves (I wish I had!)

Brilliant
Finally got chance to try this out on our drain that takes waste from the dishwasher and sink. I had tried rodding but the rods stopped at 6 metres, I thought it was an elbow. I ordered this based on the reviews. The drain was full, put my hand in to remove the access cover and noticed a thick layer of soap powder. I put the pipe down a couple of feet and started the jet wash expecting a spray of water to come out, it didn't, the jest one the rear just forced the pipe along the drain to the stopping point. I pulled it backwards and forwards a few times until the water was running down the patio and left it for a few minutes. Did this a few times, something was definitely happening as I was getting large air bubbles every now and then. After a while I tried the rods again this time, when they got to the Β£dead end" I twisted them to make the claw break up whatever was there. All of a sudden the water drained away. I put the tap on and it backed up again, there must have been so much muck down there in pieces that it just kept blocking. I put the jet pipe down again, and after a few minutes it was clear, I ran the tap on full and had the jet wash in there and it wasn't backing up at all.I'll put the jet pipe down every few weeks now and we will use dishwasher liquid from now on.This was probably twenty year's build up, I think I would have done it with just the jet pipe it would have just taken probably 15 minutes longer.Well worth buying. I can't think what is stopping the rods and the pipe, it can't be an elbow as the pipe would have gone around the bend, maybe someone reading this might have an idea?

Does the job
Great product! Strange they supply ptfe tape with it! But it does what it says on the tin!

Effective and inexpensive
Great alternative to the Karcher version which is massively overpriced. I use this to unblock a kitchen sink waste pipe that has a long run from one of the house to the other and it works perfectly. Goes round the 90 degree angle in the pipe and is easy to push through the fat and breadcrumbs blocking the pipes. It does leak a little on the collar next to the coupling to the pressure washer, but some of the included tape they supply would probably sort it.

So much cheaper than a drain company callout
This is perfect, and did exactly the job I needed (clearing a waste kitchen sink outlet). Several friends and colleagues already queueing up to borrow it. Very pleased.

Well worth the money
Bloody brilliant and saves a fortune. Good and strong pressure with a nicely stiff hose that allows you to push when required.
