Impressive Humidor
Not only does this humidor perform at a very high level, it looks great in my den. Even my wife likes it. Keeps my sticks (cigars) at just the right temp and humidity for a consistently great flavor and performance. CIgars draw nice and easily, stay lit, etc.

Great item i recommend! But set up and seasoning is key for start up.
I am happy with my purchase. Its very quiet but it does the job well. At start up i let it sit for about 2-3 days with door open unit off to let that “new plastic smell” fade away then i wiped it down with distilled water, baking soda and a clean rag multiple times before starting up the unit and letting it run 1-2 days with no cigars. Then i took my cedar shelves and seasoned them with distilled water. Took a clean rag and lightly went over the cedar just enough to-where it changed from light to dark color. Don't over do the water or you will ruin the cedar. Once that was done i threw in my 2in1 digital hygrometer and temp gauges with 60 grain 69 boveda packs. At first the humidity was like at 87% because of the cedar shelves being damp but just open and close the doors for a bit it will take about 2-3 hours of opening and closing but the humidity will eventually even out. Now you are ready to throw cigars in and set your temp and your boveda packs will do the rest. I recommend seasoning the cedar shelves as they tend to absorb moisture if you dont but its up to the user. I did not have to use the water tray it came with and you don't either if you use 2 way humidity boveda as they absorb humidity if its to high and release humidity if it drops. Easy to use set and forget well worth the money. I purchased the 16l size btw.

Impressive Humidor – Great Value!
The media could not be loaded. Impressive Humidor – Great Value!I really like this cigar humidor. The KingChii 16L is sleek, quiet, and holds temperature and humidity well. It has enough space for a decent collection, and the digital display makes it easy to monitor conditions. My cigars have stayed fresh and ready to smoke since switching to this unit. If you’re looking for a solid electric humidor without breaking the bank, this is a great option

Almost great...so close
Couldn't wait to get this thing and get it set up. Opened the box, no long lasting smell as some have had, looks good. Seals well. Temp fropped from 80 to 70 in maybe 20 mintues or so. I have 3 gripes. One I knew about and that is that the door must be opened almost all the way to slide out the shelves or drawer. One I can fix, the other maybe. Second gripe is the top slat the shelf slides into, is much smaller in the back than the front. It slides in fine at first, but as it nears the back it gets very hard to push in. I may be able to sand the back ends down a tad to fix this. The last one, I knew about, and thought I could fix it. It happens when you pull the hard to pull out shelves and all your smokes slide off. There needs to bea lip of some sort to stop this. I bought come spanish cedar planks and was going to put them on the front, kind of like a speed bump or sorts, but it can't be done the way the very front of the shelf meets the end of the plastic slats it slides into. So...just gotta come up with a way to remedy this and It could be perfect.

Good entry level sealed humidpr
This is a really good entry-level humidor for the cigar enthusiast. It has many pluses, a few limitations, and some really good features. One of the good features is that it is a fully contained, and lightweight humidor. Don’t expect this to be heavy like a refrigerator, because it does not have a compressor. It runs quiet and seals very well. It comes with a 6 foot cord for plug-in, which means it is Easily placed within the area that you want. The controls are very straightforward and easy to use. The door sealed very well and held humidity very well. One thing I did notice, is that it came with a reservoir in the back of the unit, that was not explained in the directions or in the description. I presume this is for you to put distilled water in to maintain a humidification level. It is in the back and will require you to remove, one of the shelves in order to remove it, fill it and replace it. It also comes with a reservoir to help you initially humidify the unit when you first get it. This works extremely well, I was able to get the humidity up to a great percentage, and Allow the wood shelves to properly acclimate to the humidity. One thing you need to make sure of, is that you can allow the door to swing all the way open, that is the only way to remove or pull out a shelf or the box in the bottom. It must be able to swing completely out or the shelves will catch on the door frame. I was able to get about 70 cigars in this with ease. However, to put full boxes in unit, they cannot be longer than the shelf is wide. Therefore, a box of Churchhill may have some difficulty fitting in this unit. They would be ideal for Robusto And Toro cigars. And checking the temperature gauge, wine appears to be a little light on temperature. I had it set to 70° and it only reached 67°. Easily adjustable with the range of the controls. The cooling of the unit is not quite as quiet as the heating is but that is no big deal. You just adjust the temperature to be a little bit more or less than your desired temperature and check it with a thermometer inside the unit. The light is a soft, blue hue, and really only serves the top shelf of the unit. Once you get, your unit filled, the light really doesn’t do much good. Again, the unit isn’t all that big so displaying your cigars is easily done as you open the door. The door is quality craftsmanship however, the glass does have a reflective gloss to it so you can’t really see inside the unit to display your cigars. I presume this is to help block out unnecessary light to degrade the cigars.Overall, I am very happy with this unit. I would recommend it for any cigar enthusiast who is just getting started and would like a nice climate controlled unit to keep their cigars stored. I would recommend that you invest in a good thermometer and hydrometer reading device to make sure that your cigars are kept at your optimal desired Temperature and humidity. For the price, this is an excellent entry level humidor.
