I needed a low cost switch to add a few POE ports and this one required no setup.

I used this POE Hub for my security cameras and got rid of all the wall warts. It made the installation look much cleaner, with fewer wires, and worked great. Made well

I was looking for a small PoE switch with an SFP port and this switch fit the bill perfectly. It has a very small footprint, is passively cooled, and provides enough power for access points, cameras, phones, etc. without issue. I bought two and use both of them with FS.com transceiver modules. They power several access points, cameras, a Yealink W60B IP phone base and a UniFi Flex Mini switch. This switch is an excellent value considering what it provides.Seeing as one of my access points and several of my cameras are mounted outside of my home, the fiber module has the added benefit of providing that extra layer of protectionI don't use the "VLAN" toggle that is on the switch, as I have each switch on different VLANs upstream on the fiber switch that they're connected to, so I can't speak to that. That said, the only thing I would change on the device is to have the RJ45 uplink port also function as a PoE port or even just a regular switched port if the SFP port is in use.Despite that, it's still an excellent value and I would recommend it to anyone needing to deploy PoE devices without breaking the bank.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was supposed to be delivered over night. Need one of these for my security cameras. It took 3 days to get to me and 2 days later it still doesn’t work. Their site claims 24/7 support after about 30 hours I still have not heard a thing back from them one of their support contact numbers is on WhatsApp !! Red Flag!! Will be returning this ASAP. And ordering a differnt brand. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I installed an additional two PoE security cameras where I had to go through the attic but getting down to the 24 port PoE switch was very difficult. I did have an existing Ethernet cable going up to the attic that I didn't use. So I decided to add a PoE switch in the attic. I looked at many models and this was seemed to do all I needed, i.e.* 4 port of which all are PoE+* 802.3af/at* An uplink port* It has hooks in the back so you can put 2 screws in the wall and then hang it flush on the wall.* It plugs right into a 120V outlet, i.e. there is no power brick* 52W of total power should be plenty for connecting 4 cameras.* Offers VLAN, though I am not using it because the uplink goes into a port of the VLAN on which all my other cameras are.* Great price.

Solid little unit and despite lacking documentation in box and the app being a little strange in it's naming and flow. Once set up and connected (which was pretty easy), the app lets you access the necessary features from anywhere. I bought mine to power a POE Zigbee radio as well as offer Ethernet connections to my TV and Shield box. Everything working great!
