Alessi Diabolix Bottle Opener, Red, (ABC01 R)

Bought as a gift; it is fun and robust; a bit pricey but is very solid - and stylish

Bought for my husband, who likes it very much and put it to good use over Christmas. The colour is slatey-grey rather than black- I expected a darker colour. Quite expensive, but a sturdy item and easy to use, should last a long time.

Love this bottle opener! A classic design that can't fail to make you smile. We've had one for years, so decided to purchase another for our nephew's birthday before he starts university. Needless to say, it was a big hit. We chose the bright red so he will be less likely to lose it, and hopefully it will serve him as well as our own cheeky diabolix has served us.

This is a pretty fun object, like lots of the Alessi range - also like a lot of the Alessi range, it's a bit pricey for what it is.I got mine on Black Friday so was about 40% off, which was a lot more palatable.As a tool it works perfectly, and seems pretty sturdy - as it's red it stands out in my utensil drawer.

This is the third one of these openers I have bought, Red then Yellow and now this one. I lost the Yellow one and as they are no longer available I decided on this one described as Black Anthracite as a replacement. It is well made and will no doubt last a long time but it certainly isn't Black. It is a dull grey, one of the dullest greys that I have ever seen. Thankfully it still opens the beers the same as the other colours. I'll drink to that.

The bottle opener was bought as a gift for a friend to open bottles. He loved it He liked the colour and design. He liked the name. It also opened bottles ok
