Q: Is this good for doing a coconut and castor oil mask

I'd imagine so as it's just a plastic bowl. The brushes are very stiff though, so that would not seem useful if you were planning to use them for application.You'd be ahead of the game using a Tupperware type storage container ;)This company pretends to be made in the USA, using tricky packaging disguising the big MADE IN CHINA print.

Q: Can this bowl be used for bleaching hair?

Sure! It is a great quality. I used it to mix up the powder bleach and applied with the included brushes. It washes up beautifully and I will use it again for the next time.

Q: Are there measurements on the bowl?

Yes. There are 4 lines on the bottom of the bowl #1,2,3,4 (not sure what they're for). On the side of the bowl there are 5 lines 50, 80, 100, 150 & 200 (it says "oz" but I measured it by adding water to a glass measuring cup that has oz & metric and it's mL). The 200 mark appears to be about 7 oz. Hope this helps.
