Absolutely rubbish
Firstly, the build quality of this item is extremely poor. When I removed the lid to fill the machine up with water, then put the lid back on, the lid doesn’t sit properly anymore, almost as if the plastic is slightly warped. I had the lid off for about 10 seconds.Turned the machine on and didn’t feel any real difference between an everyday fan and this machine, this despite putting cold water from the fridge in it, and also adding x10 ice cubes to the mix.My particular air con unit randomly shuts itself down, making it pointless if you wanted to have this on in a bedroom while you sleep. Sometimes it stays on for 20 minutes, sometimes for an hour or so, but it’s random shut down makes it pointless. There is adequate water in the machine for it to continue working.Having a price tag of £54 is outrageous. I would genuinely feel hard done by if I bought this at a car boot sale brand new for £10.My advice is stick with a fan, and just accept that in the UK we are rubbish with the hot weather, both in terms of technology to withstand the heat, and as people.

I don't recommend
it doesn't cool it just makes wind if you turn it off you're already dying of heat and you can't stay close to it because the wind is strong and it will hurt your head and eyes you have to put water in it but only a little goes in and in a maximum of 10 minutes you have to put it back in. I don't recommend it

Literally just a fan for £55
Thought this was actually going to cool my room down slightly but I was wrong. First off, I found a dead spider inside the filter of mine. As you can see it made a home inside of mine before it died. Secondly it’s literally just a humidifier/ fan, not an air conditioner. This thing didn’t even manage to cool my room down 1 degree, in fact the temperature went up in my room whilst it was on. It’s slightly too loud, about the same noise level as a ps4.But it just doesn’t really cool the room. I was hoping for a room cooling system for that price but it’s literally just wet paper with a fan behind it in a box. Very cheap plastic and looks like it costed a couple quid to make. My opinion don’t even bother. Better off sticking a bowl of ice behind a fan.

Quiet and powerful
Quiet and powerful, perfect for a desk top cooling fan. The water doesn't last a very long time but thats expected given the compact size of the unit.

Don’t review until 4-5 weeks after use!
Look at the picture. This is under 5 weeks of using approximately 15 nights. At first I thought this was great, good output and water lasts all night but after having for less than 5 weeks the filter is mouldy and brown. The filters can’t be removed and cleaned as they’re like cotton wool and there are no answers to queries about replacement filters and I can’t find any to buy online. I’ll try taking the filter out and using without but as the filter soaks up the water for cool output I think this will drastically reduce its impact to keep my bedroom cool at night. I would not recommend. Very disappointed and reviews, like my original one, I think were made after initial use, not 4 weeks in when it has become mouldy and basically unusable.

Not portable, not air-con, not worth the money
At best, this is a little fan. It doesn't really cool down areas very much and if you fill it with ice, it leave condensation all over the work surface because it's basically nothing more than a plastic box with a fan at the back. When you have the ice in the filter can go in, so that doesn't work too well, all in all it's quite pathetic and not worth the money. Additionally, it has a short lead you have to plug into a socket, so it's as portable up to a meter away from the nearest socket, so not very portable at all.
