PERFECT!
My husband is 5'8 and I'm 5'6, so whenever we go out, he always gets irritated with me if I wear any heels that make me look taller than him. And personally you might as well wear flats if your heel isn't at least 3" tall! So I always got stuck wearing low heels or flat heeled boots whenever we were out together. I saw these on amazon, read all the ratings and decided to give them a try. I figured they'd help ME get to finally wear true high heels and he wouldn't be bothered by my height. They worked like a charm! We went to a wedding and he used them in his shoes for the the first time. I was able to wear my 3 1/2" heels and he was still taller than me! They are a little pricey for what they are, but I guess you get what you pay for. He never once said they were uncomfortable in any way. The other reviews are right about them not being bulky, as they are aren't very long and don't go deep into the shoe's length. I am soooooo glad I took a chance on these.

Only for small shoes.
Advertised as adjustable from 1/2 inch to 1 & a half inch. In point of fact it's either one inch or 1 and 1/2 inch and they don't stay in place and they're too narrow.

Great Extra Height for Dress Shoes
I wish they were cheaper and just a little longer to avoid how much they move around in my shoes, but other than that they are great. The extra .5 in part will probably not fit in most dress shoes, and will most likely make your toes hurt in high tops, so I do not recommend using them unless you wear something like boots. Perhaps without this mostly useless .5 inch add-on the price may have been cheaper.

Excellent product!
I bought some of the other lifts that are available on Amazon but you really need wide shoes to make them work and also a deeper shoe! I wanted something that would work in my athletic shoe. This LiftKit works perfectly for my athletic shoes! These lifts are not as wide or long as the others! Perfect product for me!

Ladies -- I have a newfound respect for you!
First off let me just say that $27 for these things is just silly. The company is playing on your insecurities rather than providing you a legitimately priced product. does it make you taller? yes. but stuffing rolled up socks in your heel is going to do the same exact thing. it might actually be even more comfortable. all it is a hardened foam-type of material made in the shape of a wedge. If I were to guess, this cost the manufacturer pennies to make, maybe a few bucks depending on it's origin of manufacture.as for the product itself, it is very narrow like the heel of ladies heels. therefore it doesn't sit snugly in the heel of men's dress shoes like oxfords. this is a concern for me because if you step on a crack, without the full surface area of your heel, you might roll your ankle. I walk a lot living in the city and working downtown, so I'm scared this is actually going to happen one of these days.If you are a man, you will soon respect women 10 times more. I can only imagine walking in these is what women used to feel like when women used to wear heels (I know, it's all about flats nowadays). anyway, you begin to walk differently, my wife noticed that. although, I did note that to walk with these, your back needs to be straighter, so at least it helps with posture. the real pain in walking in these comes at the balls of your foot. because the "lift" is making you stand taller, you're putting more pressure forward on the ball of your foot. by the time I get home from work, the balls of my feet feel like they've been rubbed over with low grit sand paper. anyway, I still use these even though it causes me a bit of pain. since I wear suits most days, it gives me a better silhouette. if you're concerned about people knowing you wear lifts, do not take your shoes off in public. these are easily noticeable as nothing more than wedges. I used to wear orthotics, so at least I could use that to explain the insert. these just straight up scream Napoleonic complex. I'm sure eventually, once the novelty wears off, I'll come to my senses and put my orthotic inserts back in, but for now, it's nice being an inch taller (like others said, the second connecting insert is near useless)I will say that one good thing about these is that they do not slip around your shoe throughout the day, they stay right where they are so that's reassuring. If these things cost 8 bucks, which is what they should cost, I'd give them 3.5 stars.

Second piece doesn't do much
The top layer of these lifts is not really useful. I measured the height difference with and without and I couldn't tell the difference. Other than that, good product.

Did the trick
I bought these for my husband to be and father to add a little height to their shoes. My mother and I wore heels and didn't want to over-tower our men, especially in pictures. They said they were comfortable enough. It was just for one day. They sit nicely in their shoes. I heard no complaints all day, so they must have been ok because we started at 8am and didn't stop until 9pm running all over town getting pictures and stuff. You can adjust them to whatever height you prefer. They did the job for the day and I'm glad we used them.
