Worked better than anticipated
I was amazed at the difference this product made. As a shift worker this was game changing. It only highlights the need for better light blocking shades now...time to look at the customers also bought section

Really Helps!
We got this device to darken one of our rooms. We where unsure if it would actually work and I have to say, we where shocked! It really does work! The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because we did not put it up as intended. We put it up backwards and instead of using the magnetic strips we screwed it directly into the wall. This kept it out of the way and we don’t need to take it up and down.

Please don't buy.
The magnet strip that attaches to the window frame does not stick. I was very diligent in pressing the strip to the wood to make sure it has time to adhere. On one window, it fell down after several hours. On the other window, it fell down after 2 days. I wish I could have returned it but I had already cut the strip. Buyer Beware!

Perfect and easy install
I would use really share succors or blade to cut them if needed. But it’s perfect for privacy

Too narrow
I don’t have any issues with the magnet adhesive like others have said, it stuck well. Main issue is its way too narrow. ended up not doing what it was intended to do in blocking the light. I still have a small gap of light coming thru.

Works perfect
I like how it keeps the light out, i use behind the shade because the blind is sort of bent due to the way i pull up the blinds. It adheres nicely to the wall. I initially wanted to use in front of the blinds but due to how my wall curves at the top I could only use inside the wall

To be honest, these didn't work for our windows...
We picked these light blockers up to put on the window in our daughter's room. Blackout curtains worked pretty well, but light leaks in on the sides. These seemed like the perfect solution, however, they didn't fit our windows. I don't know if it's because our house was built in the 80's or that was just a thing the builder did at the time, but there is virtually no window sill on any of our windows. As a result there's nowhere to properly install these things. I can say with pretty good confidence that if our window had regular edges, they would have worked as intended.
