Charms Sour Balls, 12 oz

They are the Charms candy balls. They are not individually wrapped, but that's okay they have the anti-sticky powder on them from the factory. Good Charms candy flavors, just like I remember. Wish they still made the Big Charms suckers.

I eat so many I get sore in my mouth...yet they aren't sour...its basicly dum dum pops with no sticks. Except different flavor sand companies! Definitely buying again!

These candies were pretty decent. Reminds me of the old blow pops suckers from Charms (just without the gum) and smaller. They were coated in what I'm guessing was the sour powder but weren't really all that sour (very mild); so those that are sensitive to sour candy these seem to be ok in that regard. The can arrived a little damaged and the tin was very slightly open (like it had been bumped against something), but the candy itself hadn't spoiled. No moisture in the can and the plastic lid seemed to be on pretty tight. Just saw little broken pieces of hard candy between the plastic lid and tin, but otherwise it all turned out well. I'd recommend them to anyone that enjoyed the old Charms candy.

These charm balls are good tastes like charm pops with out gum, but be careful not to choke on them you cannot chew they are hard I don't recommend for small children.

My wife and I loved these when we were kids in the 60s and we were both looking forward to trying them again after so many years. Not only are they not sour, but the flavors are weak too. I called the manufacturer, (Tootsie) and their excuse was that this is the original recipe from the 50s/60s, and that our tastes in sourness have changed over the years. Well, we also purchased some rolls of Regal Crown Sour Lemon and Sour Cherry, again, again, a favorite candy of our from the same time period, and they were sour and delicious. The can of Charms went straight into the trash. A waste of money.

Not sure if this is normal or just my purchase but the majority were yellow and green with the dark red the next flavor. Very few orange or red flavors. While all had good flavor, if you’re looking for sour like I was, this is not going to satisfy you. They were not sour at all. I would purchase again but I would know going into it that they are not sour. They reminded me of a lollipop without the stick.

My son's favorite. Christmas gift.
