The pants are functional with pockets. Lots of color options with decent look.For me the pants are true to size. Maybe it is not the loose fit someone might expect. However one size up does feel too baggy to me.I puchased the pants for summer travel. I was looking for 2 things:(1) quick dry: it is truly quick dry - dries up in maybe 4-5 hours. No need to pack spare pants any more.(2) covertible: use as pants on flight where it can be really cold and convert it to shorts once landed.

Great lightweight pants. We used them for a scout canoeing trip. The legs unzipped easily and were easy to reattach. The only caution is to be careful with the zipper head when you unzip the bottom leg part from the pants; the zipper can fall off.

These pants are lightweight, comfortable, and appear that they'll be sturdy for as light as they are. But I'm really glad I read the other reviews that said to order them a size larger. If I'd ordered my true size, they'd be way too tight. I ordered a full waist size (2") larger, and they're almost perfect. Except they were really long. Fortunately, I can tailor most clothing, but the stretchy, soft fabric made good hemming a challenge. It worked, and I'll enjoy wearing them. If they'd get their sizing consistent with other products, or offer the pants in different lengths, I could've given a 5 star rating.

Excellent, breathable fabric yet water repelling. Easy conversion. Love it!

Very versatile

Husband loves these for fishing. Medium was more snug fit than most mediums, but stretchy, breathable & comfortable.

First Impressions: About as expected for mostly-Nylon pants. Seems well made. Watch the size chart! Amazon warns that some sizes are "Frequently returned due to poor size or fit". The waist has two stretchy segments, but the inseam is fixed. These are ~1" too long. I should return it, but I'll cope.Come on "AREOUTS" brand, most manufacturers offer options for BOTH waist AND inseam sizes.Follow-up after wearing: TBD
