Worked well enough for trimming goat hooves in our arid desert environment

These are great quality nippers that I use for my livestock hooves. They are spring loaded for great handling and work well for using one handed while holding the hoof with other hand. Very effective for what I need.

Relatively easy to use one -handed, though because of the short length doesn't have a ton of leverage. My nips are sharp and seem solid. I've used them, in combination with my longer nippers, several times now and am happy, but they're not a stand alone tool

I’m so disappointed in this product, and if I could would give zero stars. For $50 I would expect it to at least be able to cut through paper, but it literally doesn’t! There’s another review stating it couldn’t cut through butter, which is SO true, and I wish I would have taken that more to heart before wasting my time with these nippers. I tried to make one snip on my goat’s hoof and it didn’t even make an indent where I had applied it. This is a baby goat, so his hooves are still pretty soft and leathery. Nippers were delivered yesterday, and are going back today! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The media could not be loaded.  I'm thinking these used to be a really high quality set of nippers based on the design. But now they look like they were farmed out to another country and made poorly. The cutting edges do not line up properly and the grinding marks aren't even straight. See videos and photos. The spring action does work well. Sending these back.
