I bought this to replace a folding silicone one and this is much flatter and holds around the same amount of washing.The basket has a full load of shirts and trousers here, a full machine load, and there is still plenty of room.The handles are comfortable and well made, it collapses back down easily and it stays rigid when it is full of clothes.I'm a big Joseph Joseph fan, so knew I'd probably like this, but it has not disappointed and I may look to buy a second one to keep upstairs to bring washing downstairs!

I'm really happy with this. It's really well designed and sturdy; made of robust material that can handle the weight and wetness. I don't have space to store a conventional laundry basket so used to bearhug a ball of damp laundry from the machine to the dryer each time which was far from ideal.I have a small gap (couple of inches, if that) between the top of my integrated washing machine the counter and this just folds down compactly enough to slide in, so it's really neat that it can be tucked away, out of sight until it's needed. To me that is its main selling point - so much easier to store.This does the job of carrying all my laundry. Freestanding machines tend to have a larger capacity than integrated, so perhaps for those with a large machine it wouldn't hold a full load? But for my needs it's spot on.

Works well, providing a comfortable means of transporting laundry around the house. Sensible size for this job. Seems well made so should last better than the fold-up plastic boxes we used previously. Certainly easier to carry up and down stairs one or two handed. Not the cheapest one available but you get what you pay for!

Unless you have a huge family and are very short cash, do not hesitate to buy this. I hav persuaded all of my family and friends to do so, after giving them a 'hands-on' demonstration.It scores because:-* Capacity is perfect for an average couple or small family. It takes a standard machine load., including bedding.* It is wonderful to store. It pokes down the small gap at the side of the washing machine, ready to use.* It is easy to clean, just a wipe down with an absorbant, clean, dry cloth or sponge and a 10 minute air-dry, opened out, then you can fold it flat and put it away* It is very well made. It looks as if it will last much longer than the flat-fold plastic baskets. I love the (also expensive) silicone, collapsible baskets, but the silicone strips split away from the hard plastic strips (on the fold down sides) after just 2 years of almost daily use. I know. I have had 2 of these.*It looks very neat. My friends, mostly academics!! waxed lyrical about how smart it is.Conclusion: Yes, Joseph, Joseph, like all of your designs, it is a rip-off, price-wise, but for both functionality and looks, it is a winner.If it is ever offered at a reduced price, don't hesitate to buy one. I will, just to have a spare !!!

I was jibbing at spending so much on a laundry bag but honestly, this is by far the best for me in a long series of them. I have arthritic hands and slight mobility issues, so 'little' things like placement of handles on the long or shorter side, the *shape* of the handles and the weight of the empty and then full item matters a lot to me for ease of use. This fits the bill on every count. One not overstuffed bag full beautifully fits in with my washing machine guidelines (9kg load max machine) and when not in use, the thing very easily folds back flat. Well done to the designers of this. Happy customer.

This basket is stylist, practical and fold so flat you can store between washing machine and counter top.would highly recommend
