Clybourn Chill Stainless Steel FreeFlow Filter Water Bottle with AUTOSEAL, 24oz., Salt

I have several Contigo water bottles and really like their Autoseal lid design. I prefer to tilt the bottle as opposed to sipping up through a straw. The push button release is easy to use for me and keeps water from spilling. The stainless steel bottle is the same as the other Contigo bottles keeping water cold for many hours. The Autoseal lid design is the same as well with the addition of a filter attachment mechanism in the lid. The filter is attached to the lid an extends a little less than half way down inside the bottle. This allows me to add ice on the bottom half as opposed to straw type filters which extend to the bottom of the bottle. The carbon filter is easy to clean/replace when needed. Water is slower coming through the filter than without one but that is to be expected. While I'm a fan of Contigo water bottles, there's always areas for improvement. As the filtered lid fits other Contigo bottles, it would have been nice to be able to just buy the filtered lid without having to buy another bottle too. Also, the imprinted metal ring on the bottom of the bottles is not the most stable and with even just the slightest dent, can be wobbly. I purchased some third party silicone bottle sleeves that cover the bottom and come up about an inch. These solve the stability issue and minor dents on the bottom. Contigo could at least include these with the bottle or offer them as an add-on when purchasing. They were only a few dollars extra.

This Contigo water bottle with the built in filter was great on my recent trip. I went with my kids to Summit Bechtel Reserve boy scout camp in West Virginia for a week. This Contigo was a great size to take water for several hours. I like the design of the handle on top and drinking cover. Both snap open and closed. The handle on the top made it easy to carry or clip to a backpack or belt. It survived the white water trip down the New River, clipped on with a locking carabineer. It was easy to wash after I got home. The water flow was really slow through the filter at first. But once the filter was fully saturated after a day of regular use, the water flow picked up considerably.

Love Contigo water bottles. The only complaint with this one is the filter slows the water flow considerably, but works (water tastes great).

If you want a water bottle that won't drip on the outside from condensation This is the one! It will also keep it colder longer... Thank you.

I was unhappy with this particular bottle because of the water flow. There is a filter that sits right under the cap. When you go to drink from the bottle. The water flow coming from the bottle is not smooth and fluid. When you go to take a sip the water trickles out of the spout. A very slow trickling of water coming out of the spout for you to drink. The filter under the cap in which the water runs through before it reaches the spout restricts to much of the water coming out. So you are left without any type of thirst quenching momentum when you go and take a sip. It's like drops of water trying to get through and not running like water faucet as it should be.

This is a very sturdy water bottle. I bought it primarily due to the Contigo name because we have used many of their travel mugs over the years. I am disappointed that it doesn't hold nearly as much as described. Even the mark on the outside that says 24 oz is inaccurate. Without the filter you can get 22 oz in the bottle and still get the lid on without spilling over. With the filter it is much less. The inside part of the lid is large and complex and I'm not sure that I am ever really getting it clean so I don't know how long I will keep this water bottle. It is nice that it is dishwasher safe. The handle is smooth and sturdy and the cap snaps over the mouthpiece securely. The "autoseal" release makes it much harder for me to spill things at my desk and the lock on the seal makes me feel safer putting it into a bag. I would definitely buy a larger version of this bottle.

Love this water bottle. We use at whenever we travel. So easy to filter the water for coffee in motel rooms and perfect for great filtered water anywhere!
