Maverick: The Complete Series (DVD)

I remember this series from childhood. Always loved it. James Garner, especially, brings a great warmth and fun to the part. Jack Kelly and Roger Moore are good but not up to Garners standard. I suppose the only parts that are not quite right are the long shots of the leads which even from a distance are obviously not the actors themselves as those shots are usually from an old western and the amount of supposedly smart indians who keep getting ambushed and killed. Minor points really. DVD's are good quality.

This is a great value. Sure beats streaming anything. James Garner and Jack Kelly alternate episodes mostly. And they also vary from serious to comedic themes. Pleasure to watch, even, or maybe especially, in B&W. Many hours of good clean entertainment.

A lot of money but it's very good quality. DVDs play well and picture quality is very good. Maverick has always been a favorite TV show. Makes me think of my grandpa who loved the western TV shows of the time period.🤠

The series was very good, but all the disks are in black and white. However if you go on to the Brett Maverick series - that is in color. Some of the characters from Maverick appear in the Brett Maverick series. Both series are very entertaining. The Maverick series consists of 2 brothers and one cousin character.

I always liked Maverick. Worth buying. The shows were great. A MUST HAVE for western fans. Highly recommend.

Arrived as scheduled. Excellant packaging.. Plastic disc cases - oval holding 2 discs... Only have watched a few .. so far so goos

An excellent set in very clear b&w and I most highly recommend it to any Maverick fan.On a personal note - when I first saw this series years ago I had a crush on James Garner but now, years later I find that it is Jack Kelly whom I admire the most. How we change as we grow older!It is lovely revisiting a beloved series and finding that it is as fresh as it was all those years ago. The scripts were excellent and the acting was great.They simply don't make them like this anymore.10/10 Stars!!
