My mind is blown. No spoilers but this is a crazy good read. I literally am going to get the second book to read right now! Definitely a one click author.

Bk 1 which ends on a cliffhanger.This is an Adult read and please see the authors Content Warnings and look after yourself.Reverse Harem, Omegaverse, Shifters - we only see partial at present, forbidden love of sorts, age gap romance, some MM and reference to previous violence.Started and finished in an evening; I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the pace, dynamics, story line, Spice, characters -flaws and all! Had me engaged from the start.Did not want instant love, a cozy read and was not disappointed lol There are lies, manipulation, subplots, mysteries - one thing I found soooo confusing and I cannot say what without risk of spoiling but it seemed contradictory hence the 1 star deduction. I did actually reread the book upon waking this morning as it bugged me in the night! Hope it was deliberate and all will be revealed in bk 2 - shall amend and upgrade my rating in that case!!Elvana our Omega is a mess, trying to do her best and the right thing whilst coping with hormones, grief and an ever changing state of affairs. Felt by the end of the book the character had grown up a bit which I liked.Link, Rory and Cam our Alphas, a mixed group of brothers who are not averse to playing dirty to see their end game succeed. They had no idea just how much of an impact Elvana would make on their lives.And finally my new book boyfriend, sorry readers just put dibs on him - I seem to have a type I have discovered! Anyway I digress, Arben Marku, the Alpha Assassin who works for Elvana's Father who was put in an untenable position many years previously.So four Alphas, one Omega and a cliff hanger. Roll on Book 2 and I have found myself a new Author!I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Fantastic read! I love the characters and the storyline so far. I can't wait to read the next installment. I definitely recommend this book if you like omegaverse.

Holy wow, this is an unputdownable Omegaverse!First off mind the cliffy, it's a doozy, but apparently book 2 is out soon.Secondly, the lies, the betrayal, the heartbreak, and the manipulation....omg!! This is almost a dark verse, really skates the line, mind the CWs. I am so confused about how I feel right now. First off, I absolutely adore the FMC Elvi, I love her spunk and fire, I get a little frustrated with her wolf at times who is more submissive than her human side and doesn't always understand the nuances in human relationships, but generally I think she's brilliant. She's naiave, trusting and kind and she's just had her world shattered and many of her memories lost because of an accident.The guys - I kind of like Rory, but I'm deeply disappointed in him. I'm utterly meh about Cam because frankly aside from healing her - and that wasn't done altruisticly - he's treated her pretty appallingly. Don't even get me started on Link. I don't think my bad words are enough, disgraceful, traitorous, venomous, hateful, spiteful.... Ooooh I could go on. Right now, I can't possibly see how on earth he can be redeemed. He is going to have to beg, and prove himself over and over for the next two books to even be considered for a kiss at this rate..... I'm confused about Kelly. Extremely. But I guess this is the authors intention.... Big mystery. And my favourite, new book boyfriend is Arben. I love him.Seriously this book has so much going for it - a fantastic storyline filled with mafia vibes suspense, set in a wolf shifter omegaverse, twists and turns, betrayal, lies galore and one heck of a mystery as well as a seriously spicy heat scene!! Just phenomenal - go read it!!

There's a lot of world-building and introduction to Omegaverse in the book, so I can appreciate why other reviews have said they struggled to get into the first few chapters - if you're not new to Omegaverse stories this might make it a little slow but, if you're new to Omegaverse it will help build some understanding of politics and social hierarchies etc.I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers, but I knew this was part of a duet when I read it so I expected something to keep you waiting for book 2.Before reading this, I had read the first 2books in the Backyard Goblin Gods - this book is so different!More angst, drama and less golden retriever energy - the men in this RH/why-choose have more staffy/pitbull energy, i.e. soft as anything with those they love but packing a serious bite and attitude if threatened!One of my suspicions (which is heavily hinted at) was revealed as true within this book, so I'm excited to see how that develops in book 2.

Eek this is one of the best omega, shifter, RH duets I’ve ever come across.It ticks everything you expect and more.Not only is it written to perfection but the plot is sensational.And the heat woof it’s hot hot hot.Lies, betrayals, secrets, game changers and a cliffhanger with questions for sure.Roxy Collins I’ve never read anything of your before and now I’m wondering where you been hiding as damn girl you know how to get us addicted.These characters are everything.Bring on the second part to this incredible duet.

This was a really great read, full of plot and intrigue with a good dose of sexy alphas and lots of tension, of the sexy sort! Excuse me while I go and read the next book right away!

So, I honestly almost didn't finish this one due to the 'he gets of on a females pain' part. Rubbing one off to a girls tears is really not my cup of tea and not my type of dark romance. I usually love this author, especially the H.O.M.E books, so I kept reading and the story doesn't disappoint. It is captivating and has all the Omegaverse tropes we love. Rory ends up being the most lovable of the MMCs, so I thought the whole part about him being so 'sick' didn't really fit at all. But apart from that it is a great book and I will be starting on book two today! :-)

This was my first book by Roxy Collins and OMG it was everything i never knew i needed. I love omegaverse books and i haven't read any where i'm like Nope don't like it at all BUT i can tell you right here and right now, this is my absolute favorite omegaverse series! The story is amazing, the spicy scenes are absolutely fingerlicking hot and there’s a lot of action in there with twists and turns to keep you on your toes throughout the whole book.Our main charachter’s dad hid her and her mother away for most of her life. So when her mother is laying on her dead bed, she tells her the truth about him. So when she leaves seeking revenge, she comes across Rory who by the fates or something else seems tob e her step brother along with Link and Cam or so she is told. They all go on a revenge trip but secrets unfold and the truth hurts.I’m very excited to start reading book two and see where this story takes them.

Twisted Lies, book 1 of the series Blood Brothers, by Roxy Collins @roxycollinswriting. Roxy is a new to me author.I enjoyed this book about Elvana, Rory, Cam, Link & Arben. It was slow to start with & I liked it enough to continue reading the series. Tropes: RH, no MM but with ⚔️, lies, & a cliffhanger.

Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.
