Very easy to fit. Clever design. Easy to see if the filter needs cleaning (it has not since i fitted it about a year ago). I fitted this because we often wild-camp and need to fill our fresh water tank from streams sometimes. My previous pump started to allow water to back-flow - I suspect because of grit or similar in the water. The design means it is easy to empty without getting water everywhere.

Protection for your expensive boat or RV 12v pump. A lightweight (don't believe the published spec) and neat solution. Your pump warranty may be invalidated if you do not fit one (which can be done in minutes).

Perfect and necessary, without this the warranty would be void and it really costs so little it makes no sense not to include it

A neat little in line filter with a cleanable mesh to prevent debris from entering the pump. A low cost item which protects a high cost pump. Do the maths.

I was surprised to find this style of filter fitted so easily to replace the 'older style'...No messing!!! And reasonably priced.
