Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Onyx Gray 4GB RAM 128GB ROM

I love my iPhone but I also need an Android for work. This Redmi is great value, is well made, it instantly updated to the Global version of MIUI 14.0.10.Its photos are OK (acceptable for a phone costing£140) and the battery lasts all day. It has fast charge and can fill the battery to 50% in just a few minutes.You get a usb-c cable and a free plastic phone cover.It works well.

This phone is amazing, I got this as a gift for my little brother and he loved it, it’s very powerful he plays all type of games on it including Roblox and it’s very smooth and the battery is very very very good it lasts longer than my phone which is a new iPhone which is quite interesting, also comes with a sturdy clear phone case which was nice, for the value this phone is easily worth it. Only flaw is the camera is not the best but I mean for the price it is better than most phones from bigger brands, I’m just used to the latest iPhone camera. Really recommend this.

Great budget phone honestly only issues is the refresh rate is sometimes quite slow

Very good screen and processing power. Quick charging, long lasting battery, comes with a protective case (transparent rubber in our case) and screen protector (film typ, but we replaced it with 9H glass protector to be safer). Have not used the fingerprint reader or the face recognition so, can't give feedback on them, but expect to work well (previously used an earlier model which still works well, but the battery's getting old and so, boughtthis model).

So despite my 3/5 rating, I want to start with some positives this phone is pretty damn impressive for starters you get a massive phone, a really good battery life, a 120htz display and of course a really good price pointNow for the downsides going from an S22 to a Cheaper phone was not as easy as it sounds while everything feels premium not everything is for example a measly 4GB Ram is pretty unfortunate as you'll notice apps take way longer to open and quite a lot of the time apps will crash and even the keyboard will lag if you're a fast typer like I am.Now this one is a bit of a nitpick for me but the amount of apps that I have no use for that I can't uninstall is unfortunate bloatware is a pretty big issue on this device apps I have never even heard of are practically useless and it's a shame I can't remove them.While the camera is not bad it could be better if you're taking a picture from decent range pictures are great but if you want to get up close and personal with your photo shoots grain is very present making your phone seem old and outdated and the same thing with videosSo overall this is a great device and impressive for the price point but if you're looking for something less laggy and better photo quality up your budget a little more and give this one a miss as they're are slightly more expensive phones that are about 10x more powerful than this one and I'll probably revert back to my S22 and save this as a backup

Bought two of these for my parents as replacement phones for an old motorola and a blackberry! for the value they are very hard to beat its just unfortunate with some of the bloatware on it. The camera is an improvement over both former phones though a long way off my pixel 6 pro, but for the price you pay its hard to ask for more.

What can I say .....I've had budget Android phones for 10+ years now , and this Redmi Note 12 is BY FAR the worse phone i've had.PROS - It has a good screenCons -- the lagging on this phone is shocking , I can honestly say my phone of 6 years ago would out perform this brick.- Fingerprint is terrible- Bluetooth range is shocking- Wifi range is poor- Menu system is cumbersome- When transferring files to laptop - the option to select file transfer comes up only 50% of the time.AVOID THIS PHONE - Complete waste of money

It’s a phone worksThe battery life for the first couple off moths will last to the hours it says but it will decrease slowlyThe camera is not like a iPhone it will look fuzzy but great on zoom modeNothing else to really say
