Greater Goods Perfect Portions Nutrition Scale for Meal Planning, Tracking Nutrition Value, and Macro Counting (Non-Backlit Model)

I am very happy with this food scale. Because I weigh the ingredients for each meal to make sure I'm staying on track with my fitness and health goals, I use the scale multiple times a day. Main positives:- Bright color screen with large numbers- Easy unit changing with a front button- Wide range of units (g, fl oz, ml, lb oz)- Useful fitted bowl that is easily cleaned and swivels so that it doesn't block the screen- Easily cleaned weighing surface on the unit itselfFor years I had been using a scale that awkwardly had the unit switch on the bottom, had a dim monochrome display, and only had g and oz as units. This scale is a gigantic upgrade for me and makes my time in the kitchen much easier.- Using ml, I can now more easily measure things like salad dressings and drink mixes.- The bright display makes measuring more flexible in the morning and evening when I don't want to turn all of the lights on.- I used to have specific bowls I would use to pour ingredients into, but the included fitted bowl is perfect for that and is a more stable pouring surface while being super easy to clean. It's a rectanglur shape but with wide curves so it's easy to clean after each use with a scrub brush so you won't need to use the dishwasher for it unless you want to.- The weighing surface on the scale is also inset a little so things like veggies won't roll off.- I've found it to be accurate: I can easily be specific to the gram or ml when pouring things like liquid egg whites, salad dressings, drink mixes, etc.A lot of thought obviously went into this scale and it has a lot of little quality of life features that make it very useful.For full disclosure, I received this scale for free as part of a promotion. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy it and fully recommend it. It's very affordable and the features are exactly what I need for a tool that I use multiple times every day. My wife noticed the brand and we realized we also have a body weight scale and a baby scale from the same company. We're very happy with those as well and I use the body weight scale daily.

The custom feature works nicely, i got confused with the numbers that you have to hit custom AGAIN and it will prompt a 2 digit number instead of the usual 4 digits, after that it is very accurate calculations and measurements.Very nice and shiny, good quality, auto shut off itsnt fast so you have time to prep things and cook without hitting the on button 20 times. Battery hasnt needed a change in the weeks ive had it.Definitely a good productJust look at the measurements, its smaller than a piece of printer paper but i think its the perfect size.

Most scales are accurate enough for basic portion sizes and cooking, but I wanted something super accurate for small batch baking, where a few grams more or less can make a difference. I read about this scale and how having the single sensor made it more accurate on the whole surface so I decided to try it. I happen to have a 50g weight I use to calibrate my dye scale, so I tested it out in the center and all the edges and it worked perfectly! On the edges it took a few seconds to settle at 50, but it did, every time.The other thing I love about this scale that I hadn’t even been thinking of when I chose it, is that because the weighing platform is raised, large items don’t cover the display. It can be a bit awkward to get on the right level to see it if there is a large overhang (I use it to weigh outgoing packages and envelopes to buy online postage labels) so I often use my phone camera to snap a picture instead.I’ve had the scale for a few months now and I keep it in a cabinet so it gets moved every time I use it, and it is still working and perfectly calibrated. It’s very lightweight and at first I was worried it would be flimsy and break easily, but so far, so good. It has been spilled on, both powders and liquids, and cleaned up with no problem. The pictures were taken today, so as you can see, it’s still perfectly accurate.I honestly love this little scale, and can’t believe it cost me less than $20. I would have been happy with it for twice the price. If you need a basic but very accurate kitchen or postage scale, I highly recommend this one.

I've been using this kitchen scale for over 2 years now, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. First off, it looks great. It's slim, light, and fits perfectly on my counter without taking up much space. The display is clear, easy to read, and even photographs well, which was important to me.On the practical side, it’s very user-friendly. It’s easy to clean most parts, and the little rubber legs underneath are fantastic. They stay put even with heavy use, which is great because I use this scale almost every day. Another big plus is the "pour-over mode," where it stays on for an extended amount of time. This is especially helpful because it turns itself enabled itself when it realizes that you're taking things on and off at extended intervals.However, there are a couple of downsides. Cleaning can be a bit challenging when it comes to the crevices, especially under the main plate where you weigh things. It’s not removable, like some of the competition. Additionally, the scale doesn't take rechargeable nickel-cadmium (NiMH) batteries. It would have been nice to have that option for convenience and sustainability.Despite these minor issues, it's been a reliable tool in my kitchen.
