Nice model

A must for Chevy folks. I've been collecting 1/18 diecast on & off for 15 years. I have a few Maisto cars that I felt were not the best detail. Not so with this one, good detail with the exception of the engine compartment, but that's a non issue as the overall quality is good. Maisto has improved overall quality. I recommend their products.

I have been in love with this design and it's many offshoots since the 1970s. It's a very clean no nonsense design that, to me, evokes power and style. Unlike the Barracuda with its overdone notches and intakes the Chevelle has a set of clean lines. This was a must have when I saw it. Great looking and nicely displayable this Maisto edition is wonderful. There can be so many reasons to purchase this lovely "toy," mine is nostalgia. Great for every age.

I don't really have any sort of insight into the accuracy of this as a model car, as I don't know anything about what makes a model car valuable. I bought it to go in a nursery with the idea that it will eventually be played with. That being said, the car is beautiful and very detailed. It rolls smoothly and everything that should open does, and with ease. It seems sturdy enough to hold up to normal play in the future. I noticed that some reviewers mentioned that the color was a bit of a lottery. The screen showed orange when I ordered and that's what I got. It was very well packaged and came screwed into a display case.

WOW! I collect diecasts in 1/24 and 1/18 and this is one of the best. I stay within reason on my buying - never spend over $40 - and for the price - this is a home run. I ended up with the burnt orange and it is a perfect match to the original color. It had the stripes on the hood and even the hood brackets. The typical GM trunk of that era - full with the spare in detail. An undercarriage - nice engine detail. A moulded instrument panel instead of a decal. A vinyl roof that looks as real as possible. Yes this is so nice if I knew I would get another color I would order another! From my buys Maisto makes the best budget 1/18 cars! I am surec $200+ cars are better - but this is truly amazing.
