We purchased for a family Hanukkah party as we couldn't find the ones from Hebrew school ages and ages ago. Even though we played with people who didn't read Hebrew, the letters were transliterated into English so everyone knew what they landed on. Great package with terrific value!

We loved these for both my daughter's and son's class projects about their heritage. All we had to do is make copies of the instruction page and then we were able to pass them out. Size is great and instructions are understandable for little ones.

I bought these for three kindergarten classes so each student could have their own. They are colorful molded plastic (i.e. indestructible!) and they spin just like a dreidel should. My only complaint is that the raised letters on each side don't show up very well, especially for kindergartners who are just learning the Hebrew symbols. We solved the problem by using a sharpie on all four sides of each dreidel to darken the letters. It was effective but time consuming. However, my students loved learning to play the dreidel game, and it was great to be able to send a dreidel home for each student to play with their families.

Purchased these for my son's kindergarten holiday party. Separately purchased some gelt (chocolate gold coins) and printed mini "how to pay dreidel" handout. The kids loved this! At the class party, we played with beans. We did break out groups where 4-5 kids learned to spin the dreidel, learned the symbols and used the beans. They LOVED taking home their own dreidel and gelt.

I teach elementary school and we studied winter holidays around the world before winter break. My students loved learning to play dreidel. Most had never played before and each child was able to take a dreidel home to teach their families to play. I will definitely buy them again for next year.
