Great game for all the family (F1 fan or not)!
Great game! I bought this as a present for my brother who is an avid F1 fan, I don’t know the first thing about F1 but it was really easy to understand and get into! Great balance of luck of the dice roll and strategy, it definitely brought out the competitive side of us. It will be coming out at the next games night!

Game review
Have not played the game yet but looks like fun. Only comment is that Amazon web site states 2-8 players but actually is 3-8

Lights Out!! And Away We Go!!
Love this game. My boys became F1 fans recently and when i saw this i knew they would love it and they do. You don't have to be an F1 to enjoy it either, fun for all the family id say.

fantastic
Racing Line is such a fun and exciting game for both kids and adults. Easy to learn, but still full of strategy and surprises. Played it with family and everyone got into it right away, even those who don’t usually like board games. The F1 theme is done really well and adds a cool, competitive vibe. Great quality pieces and the board looks fantastic on the table.

Very simple and quick to learn.
The gameplay mechanics are all a bit facile, which significantly harms the replay value of a game that - as per the opening paragraph of its rules - is designed to be repeated half-a-dozen times every sitting. It's very pricey for something so simple; compared to a genre-leader like "Formula D", you're losing more in value than you're saving in money. The production is fine - the board is sturdy enough, it's got accessories to handle all the various fiddly bits of admin that the game design expects you to track (turn order, scoring, etc. It comes with a pencil and printed notepad for tracking race results, etc). So it's not like there's no value at all inside the box or anything. But the game design has very little depth to it. Which is fine for particularly young children who will quickly run into decision paralysis or make really bad choices if given lots of options - but isn't very good for any remotely sophisticated audience.Unlike Formula D - where the mechanics emphasise a trade-off between speed and risk-taking in the racing; movement is entirely decided by one six-sided dice. Glorified snakes-and-ladders territory in terms of simplicity.A small amount of complexity is added by players having "event cards" (one per race, with 6 races per gaming session expected) they can play: But these are handed out randomly too, so while there is some strategy involved in how and when to deploy them (and whether you want to use more on one race at the cost of losing them in another), it is pretty much the only element of strategic play in the game.Because movement is dictated by the die, you have a very narrow selection of decisions to make at any moment - usually with one obviously optimal one.So while on any given turn you can feel that your position relative to other players shifts quite a bit based on their dice rolls, and the entire game is pretty much navigating the randomly distributed cars each turn, it doesn't feel like your decisions are what are influencing how the game plays. In that sense, it's a bit pricey for quite a superficial experience. Compared to the depth of gameplay in other similarly themed titles, it's not really good value for money.

great board game for the family. smaller kids can play it too, but with less rules maybe. at least that's what we did. Great quality, easy to understand rules.
