Usually buy this at the store. It is supposed to be refrigerated. I received it in a regular box. So what happene to the culture? Did it die?

I have never had to refrigerate the dry packets. It works fine when stored in a cool, dry place.

Does this box have an expiration date on it?

I have not had any in a while, but I am pretty sure it does, and here is a comment from their yogurt product description: The expiration date on package is 'yyyy mm' format
