Why did you pick this product vs others?: Plug assembly works as advertised but, be careful when opening/closing as the plastic around the black "button" is crazy sharp and will remove skin.

I installed this in my garage as an EV charger. It was pretty simple to bolt to the wall and wire up. I used the threaded knock out on the top and it all worked out nicely.

Really nice, super easy if you have any doubts about installing, get a pro. Electricity kills folks. Don't chance it if your not sure. I installed it my self and I am not an electrician by trade, but am a professional trades person so I have an understanding of safety protocols, and it was a breeze

I used this plug in a simple RV inverter installation. Rather than installing a transfer switch on my first trailer, I simply wired this weatherproof plug to the inverter outlet and mounted it to the trailer frame below the inverter compartment. When shore power wasn't available, I simply powered up the inverter, which fed this plug, connected the RV power chord to this plug at one end, and to the RV power input at the other, and had full 120v to the entire RV. Far simpler than installing transfer switches, if you don't mind walking outside and connecting some chords, like you would with shore power anyway. This plug is high quality, well constructed, and still fully weatherproof after 2 years of RV use. Recommend both this item and seller based on my experience.
