Blanket is just the right size for a 3 yr old. Colors are Brite and the blanket is really soft. It also glows in the dark and she looks forward to bed to see it glo. Worth the money.

This blanket arrives in compressed packaging that makes it easy to wrap as a gift without giving away what it is. Out of the plastic, the presentation is nice, with a ribbon keeping the blanket and its carry case together. The fleece is super-soft, although not very thick. The design is exactly what you see in the vendor's photos, and I found the colors were as expected.I questioned whether the blanket would really glow for eight hours after "charging" for twenty minutes, as was claimed in the marketing write-up I originally read, so I tested it out. After it spent thirty minutes under a standard LED lamp bulb, I took it into a dark room. The glow was pretty good (see photo). But when I checked back three hours later, there was no glow at all. I'm not really disappointed--honestly, if your kid is still awake three hours after being put to bed, this blanket will be the least of your concerns. What the blanket will do is pick up enough light during the bedtime routine to provide a satisfying glow when it's time to turn out the light. And I noticed the marketing blurb has since been changed, so a hat tip to the vendor for making that right.
