well worth the money
bright and clear black back none waterproof rgb leds quite close together so you get a nice light from them

600 LED good feature.
If strip lighting is concealed, you'd be hard pushed to get a brighter more uniform spread of light due to 600 LEDFor indoor use, IP20 is fine, no requirement for the plastic coating to be installed.I always use very small amount of Evo- Stick or Bostic to fit strip lights to surface, never had any issues. Over the years the LED strip has been replaced due to aging, the glue has still been good.

Not waterproof
Beware! These are not waterproof. The gel top coat that makes them water resistant is not applied very well and some of the board is open to the elements.They are good lights but definitely not for use outside.

Weak adhesion
Had to buy double sided tape so I could stick it to my desk very weak adhesion

only displays red
after plugging it in straight out the box no other color worked other then red.

Fantastic Investment, But not without its flaws...
Fantastic investment towards home automation. The app works well and allows for use in many ways. My only complaints would be 1. The music feature, its jumpy and doesn't work in the desired way. And 2. The app takes too much time to setup, having to switch back and forth between home networks and the devices network is annoying and if you switch router, you have to set it up all over again, however these are minor compared to its overall functionality, very pleased.

Good Cheap Tape
Used on a theatrical production, and bought 50M worth. Out of the batch, 3 LEDs didn't work, which shows the quality control on them is pretty good. The actual chips themselves contain a orange leaning chip. Its not noticeable looking at it, but when fine mixing colours it is just something to be aware of. The backing stuck to the aluminium extrusion well, just make sure its clean. Overall would definitely buy again if I was on a budget, and probably will in the future.
