Good product. Turned an IKEA bookshelf into a hidden door. Worked well. The instructions need to be a little clearer so I would say read them a few times before making any adjustments and cuts in the door frame

I don't have a very extensive tool base. I have a craft room/pantry off our TV room but the door is in the middle of the seating area. I wanted to make it a bookcase instead of a random door with a curtain dividing it. This was my second attemt at this bookcase. My first was a simple bookcase on wheels I can roll in and access my craft room/pantry. Now I have the actual door hinge for lack of a better word and I look like a master diy-er. It opens and closes so much better than my little roller wheels did. I want to hide a few other doors now lol.

I was sent a very dirty, clearly used and abused product.

The packaging is very cheap. The item quality was totally as expected for the price BUT mine was a return. The box was open on one end (literally). One of the components was not in a sealed bag like the others. The unsealed component was bent. YMMV but be aware. Could I have straightened the bend? Likely, but why? This is likely why the last person returned it, they saw the bend when they took it out of the bag. I had to return it. I hope you don't get it next.

I used these to build a murphy bookcase door for my sister's new house. It worked very well. She really likes it. But not as much as her grandson does. He plays with it every time he is there.
