L'Oreal Excellence Age Perfect 8.31 Pure Beige Blonde Hair Dye

I chose 6.03 because I wanted my previously coloured (light strawberry blonde) to look more like my natural colour. Most other "brown" home colouring kits I've tried in the past will come out so dark I may as well buy black. This one won't, it's just what I wanted.It's a nice shade of light brown with a subtle golden glow in the sun. I have waited 3 months between re-colouring to give my hair some much needed TLC and the colour did fade ending up looking like what's shown on the box which was nice.My hair isn't fully grey yet but I do have some silver strands which came out looking like the guide on the box so I imagine if your hair is completely grey it will give you a good idea of what it'll look like.Application was easy and there was no dripping and no itching, burning or tingling. Which I've had in the past after a clear patch test.It rinses out easy with lukewarm water. I find the typical hair colourant smell hangs around until after my first wash after colouring my hair but it's nowhere near as strong as some other brands I have tried.My hair feels soft, has a nice shine and doesn't feel dry or damaged.I will buy this shade again.

Didn't cover my grey, the pesky grey's came back through the next morning! I don't have huge amount of grey at all, but I guess they are stubborn. Colour is nice though. I usually use a 9, and decided to go a bit darker with the 8, and I'm glad I did. The colour itself was very watery, so was a bit unsure, but the colour worked out. Didn't use the brush included as prefer to use a comb, but was harder with the thinner liquid.Other comments saying that bits were missing in the box- I'm not surprised as I opened my cardboard Amazon envelope and everything fell to the floor. The l'oreal box was not secure at all.

Does a perfect job for covering grey, I save so much money by using it at home, rather than going to a hairdresser.

I have been using L’Oreal hair products for as long as I can remember. I’m almost 83 years old and still get good comments on my hair. The Beige Blonde is perfect for me.The only thing I wasn’t happy with this time around was that I had to order online as I couldn’t find the shade I love in the shops. Even Boots the Chemist hadn’t got it .But never mind I’m happy that you sorted me out online …. Thankyou.

I bought this to try after buying many different makes and colours. The front of my hair is completely silver white naturally (well I am 63 after all!) other colours I tried did not cover the silver white. It either made no difference at all or went far to dark. This turned out a little darker than I would have liked looking at it in normal lighting, but I think it will lighten more each time I wash it. I have taken 2 photos, one in bright light near a window, and one in normal light. It definitely covers any grey, and the colour is growing on me... literally!!

I have used this product several times now and is ideal. Although I don't get all the grey fully covered (usually some strands not covered at the temple) it looks very natural. Lovely colour and is a subtle shade of blonde. Now have it delivered as a regular monthly order

Easy to use but went from dark blonde to copper red 😔
