As expected

Love this rip bait, great weight, loads for casting in wind, hooks are good quality, finish is good quality, great suspension in water column. Works great for suspended bass on my local lakes.

This lure is slightly transparent or translucent; I'm not sure if they meant it to be or not. It could be that it's simply thin enough plastic that you can see light through it. It's an attractive lure but you can definitely tell the difference between this lure and my similar Rappala lures.Pros:- Detailed coloration with reflective surface to attract fish- Slightly less expensive than a Rappala- Easy to control the swimming action; I just reel slower or faster, as neededCons- There's not much of a price difference between this and higher-quality lures in single quantities; that might change if you were buying these lures in bulk.Personally, I would rather pay the extra $2 and get a true Rappala Jerkbait.

Great lures

I bought these as a cheap alternative to my go-to Rapala jerk baits (tired of loosing expensive baits to snags). These sank rather quickly, and nose first, did not suspend as advertised. Also the slide weight was weird. It did provide for great castability but the lure seemed unbalanced in the water. It also didn’t have great action on the jerk, possibly because of the slide weight. I catch nice pike at my local lake on Rapala husky jerks (which have great action) but had no such luck with these Xfishman despite putting in a lot of time, varying technique and covering a lot of water. Disappointed.

I've never caught a catfish with a minnow before but this lure is magic!
