The portability and foldability are fine, and this works for those able to bend their knees. But for those in a full leg brace and who aren't contortionists or yoga instructors, a leg lift with structure such as strong wire embedded in the webbing is much easier. You don't have to try to lasso your foot when lying in bed, for example.

Easy to use to pull your leg up

I was getting prepared for my total knee replacement in Aug 2022. I came across these straps and they were a life saver. I purchased 2 straps. One was to be used by my bedside for when I needed to get out of the bed and the other was used for outside when I needed to lift my leg to get in & out of the car. 2 weeks after surgery I was driving myself around. I'm very independent and was on the move. I didn't want to depend on others to help lift my leg for me. These straps also come in handy when doing standing knee flexion stretches for therapy.

I bought this prior to my hip replacement surgery. The two pack was helpful as I could keep one in my car and one in my house. As a bonus, while doing physical therapy following the surgery, the strap could be used for some of the exercises. So even as you begin to heal and no longer need it for lifting your leg, it can be used going forward for exercises.
