I am the person who needs to set AC around 77 in the summer when it's 100 degrees outside, I can not handle any lower temperature, but my husband needs 71-73, he always feels hot. Since he started working from home, that he asked me to purchase a portable AC for his office, that he can keeps cool and I feel also feel comfortable in my house. After browse we decide give this unit a try, my husband loves it so much. Easy to set up and move around. The remote is handy and fully leverages control of the unit. Noise level is great too.

This unit is a great buy for the money. It’s quiet and cools quick. Everything you would need for an economic A/C Unit.

We've never had an AC in the house, but this year we bought one for the bedroom. It's easy to use with our casement windows. We made an insulated board with a hole for the vent to put in the window. We even can completely close the window with this vent in place, for those times when we don't want the AC on. It cools down the room quickly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it is a bit noisy when it is running.

This product works to cool a room. But it should be known that if you are looking for a unit that has a fan that stays on this is not the unit. Most air conditioners have a fan stay stays on and a compressor that kicks in after the room gets too warm. This unit turns off completely when a temperature is achieved. The problem with this is is not constantly moving air so it has no clue what the temperature of the room is, only the temperature inside the unit. Also if you enjoy the unit running while you're sleeping this one will shut on and off throughout the night waking you up. I'm very very disappointed.
