A woman's lot is not a happy one (in Tudor England)
Did not realise that this was aimed at a young reader's market. Having said that the historical detail was excellent (as one would expect from Lucy Worsley) and the story line interesting. The focus on how a woman was used as a bartering counter in those times was very interesting and helped one to see just how women were in a cleft stick during the later middle ages/early modern times. However because this is young adult fiction I found the characters quite flat, although I enjoyed the story.

Very good
Enjoyed the book very much, just wondered why Henry Manox was called Francis Menham.

A word of warning here, "Eliza Rose" and "Maid of the King's Court" are the SAME book/text, but with different titles. No point in buying both!
