I can't speak to the longevity because I've only used this once. I needed an immersion blender to make homemade lotions. It worked really well and the quality seems good. You can't beat the price compared to a lof of the other immersion blenders on the market.

I bought it so I can use to make smoothies instead of my big Cuisinart blender because of many parts to clean. This blender work very well to blend smoothie and only 1 part to clean other than the cup. The thing run really hot after a 2-3 min. Now it dead after 8-10 uses. I know this type of blender won't last because the hot air generated by the motor has no where to escape. I do expect it to last up to a year or 25-30 uses. Not this fast. NOT recommended. I'm looking for a better one. UPDATE (8/8/18) I reached out to Ovente and after a few email exchanges, Ovente sent me a replacement blender. I try the replacement blender and it work just as good as expected. However, it did run HOT. Now I know the limitation of the blender, I hope that it will last me a little longer. I will give the company a 5 stars for standing behind it product. For this particular blender (or any immersion blender like this one), product reliability is still questionable. I change my original rating from 1 to 4 stars for the company effort to make it products better.

Hello! I ordered this to help puree wet food for my senior cat who has no teeth and can only eat smooth, pureed food. This hand blender has saved me so much money because the pre-pureed packs are really expensive. I used it to blend the regular friskies pate wet food, and it worked extremely well. It made the food perfectly smooth, and he was able to eat it with no problem!

Best money I ever spent. Very helpful in mixing my supplements into my drinks.

Functions well, but started rusting really early. What’s up with that???

Muy útil en la cocina

Se me hizo práctica y fácil de limpiar. Lo único es que se calienta por el uso constante, incluso sale humo después de usarla un rato. Debo esperar a que se enfríe o termino batiendo a mano. La uso para hacer jabones y si se calienta mucho. Para la cocina no se como funcione.

La batidora recomiendo no comprar no cumple con el mínimo estándar de calidad ESPECIALMENTE en el tema de seguridad, ya que su cuchilla no se ajusta bien al motor y puede sacarse al momento de batir situación peligrosa para un menor de edad o personas de mayor edad. No lo recomiendo.
