Great projector (No more Netflix support)
UPDATE: Following my review, I was contacted by the seller who offered me a suitable solution to be able to keep streaming content from the projector.I was happy with my purchase initially, the operating system is fluid and intuitive enough, the colours are accurate, the image quality good and the sound coming out of it really good and loud. However, after a few months, while using Netflix, I noticed a pop up message warning me that Netflix would no longer be supported by the projector. It seems Xgimi haven't renewed their licence and are no longer able to have Netflix installed on their devices. The company offers a drak workaround, allowing you to install the app via a third party, but the app will no longer appear on the main homescreen and the interface will be a desktop-like one with the remote only moving a mouse cursor on screen.Connecting a chromecase or firestick to the back does fix it.

Beat my expectations
I’ve watched pretty much every review on YouTube I could find for a small, cheap projector and ended up buying this one.Firstly you have to keep your expectations in check, it’s a 400 lumen, 720p projector so don’t expect razor sharp video or exceptional day time viewing. That said this has still beat all the expectations I had for it.Video quality daytime:You can absolutely see bright videos like your average YouTube vlog etc with moderate day time lighting, however any dark scenes will be near impossible to see. Closing the curtains makes it more acceptable.Video quality evening/night time:As with all projectors darkness is where they shine. I have had this 3-4 metres away from the wall and projected images over 150-200 inches with no problem. The auto focus / keystone is fantastic and gets it right almost every time (if it doesn’t just wobble it and it auto adjusts again). I have it positioned quite offset from the wall and the way it moves the image to avoid doors/light switches etc is close to magic!Resolution:Here’s where I’m on the fence, it’s 720 and I knew that going into this. It’s perfectly acceptable even at 150-200 inches for average viewing and the occasional movie night. If you have the budget i would definitely recommend going for the 1080 (pro) version but i was intentionally keeping this as cheap as it won’t be used very often.Sound:The speakers are very clear and have decent bass for the size, the volume is a bit inconsistent between YouTube/Disney and HDMI so external speakers might be a good addition to consider.Connectivity:So far I’ve hooked it up to a Nintendo switch and played Mario Kart and Zelda, both work very well. However be aware that for games where you need low latency, you should switch it to game mode. Game mode does not work with keystone active (I.e the projector needs to be moved to be exactly in front of the wall not offset)Android Performance:I planned to use this mostly with an AppleTV via HDMI but the build in Android system has been far better than expected and makes it really convenient to just carry one thing around. The system is really quick and easy to navigate and I haven’t experienced any lag or poor performance. Conclusion:If you’re after a 720p projector and fully understand what it can and cannot do, this is a great option. However if you have the budget the 1080p version pro version for approx £230 more is a worthwhile alternative.

Value for money
I like the sound quality (Dolby Audio), image quality (Dolby digital), ease of setup (just sign in your google AC), and quality of the video projector (support 4k and 3D movies). It's run with Android TV, which means you can download a VPN APP to access all films or TV programma worldwide.
