This is a quality product and a good value. This works well with small trees.

The metal stakes were the deciding factor. Locally available kits, which cost about as much, have plastic stakes. Are you kidding? Also, the line is like sturdy small diameter clothes line, not twisted frayed plastic. I like the tree straps, and the adjustable tensioners. Watch the video for how to install and tie slip knots. The original box was open and damaged, without instructions, and reboxed. Anyhow, definitely a better value than what I could find elsewhere.

My 'dream tree' in my yard has forever been a weeping willow. Despite being a homeowner for 20 years now, I simply never got around to purchasing one until a year ago. Well, two hurricanes later and it not only started to uproot, but its trunk was bending at a 45-degree-plus angle. I purchased this stake kit and within just a few minutes I had it back to being upright. I installed two of the three stakes provided a little over a month ago and the tree hasn't budged despite rather significant storms coming through (it is Florida, after all). I'm quite impressed with the job it has done and especially that it saved my long desired Weeping Willow. One recommendation I have is to play it safe and get the longer stakes. There's no reason to short change yourself with sturdiness in the ground by saving a few $$ on the shorter version.

Update: upon seeing my review, the seller offered a refund, which I accepted. So I upgraded my review because of their response. Original review: I was impressed with this kit when I bought and installed it. The stakes are strong and sturdy and the straps work well. But after a few months in the summer sun, the rope has completely rotted out. This is supposed to be an outdoor product! The straps seem fine, but time will tell.

On time, well packed, good product. We recently bought a small tree and these have worked well. They're easy to install.
