How nice to have everything placed neatly under the sink without worries that spills and leaks will ruin the cabinet and cost you a fortune when your landlord finds out. Buh-bye security deposit. You don't have to worry about mold accumulation. With this mat I don't mind having to bend over and rummage through a dank cavern, wondering what I'll find. As per another review: the silicone is flexible enough that if your cabinet is a little too small, the mat can be bent up in the back to fit.

Just as described, this is a true "set it and forget it" under sink mat. Would recommend, if only for peace of mind against leaks big or small.

At 34.5 inches x 22 inches, this mat is the perfect size for the interior of a 36 inch cabinet. The silicon is thick enough to be sturdy but still very flexible for easy instillation. The lip around the mat is nearly 3/4 inch tall to help keep leaks contained. However, like the rest of the mat the lip is very flexible. Unless it is supported on all sides by the walls of the cabinet, I think the lip could bend and leak if the mat became very full. The drain spout sticks up about 5/8 inch above the base of the mat to keep water in until you are ready to drain it, then easily inverts to point downward for draining.The downside of this mat is that if, like me, your pipes feed through the floor of the cabinet you will have to cut the mat to install it. That makes the lip of little use, but for small leaks and spills this mat will still be a big help in protecting my cabinet.

This Under-Sink Mat for Kitchen (33”x22”) is a perfect fit for under our kitchen sink. We had a small leak that ruined the floor of the cabinet. After replacing the floor, we ordered this flexible silicone mat to protect the floor from future leaks. I wasn’t expecting the mat to be so thin and flexible, and I worried it wouldn’t be what we wanted. However, after installing it, I recognized the purpose of its design. Being so flexible made getting it into place a snap. I could bend, fold, and even roll it to get it positioned under the R.O. system filters and the water supply connections (those items that I couldn’t remove). Once I had it in the position and laid flat, the lip around the silicone mat stood vertically and will keep potential leaks from coming into contact with the wooden floor of the cabinet.Conclusion: I am completely satisfied with this product. It has given me the peace of mind I was hoping for. Now, I don’t worry about small leaks ruining the wooden floor of the cabinet. It will catch and hold the water until I get the leak stopped. The silicone mat is well-designed and should last for a very long time. I see no reason for this item to be less than a five-star review.

I recently had a leak from the pipes underneath my kitchen sink that was causing damage to our wooden cabinet and this silicone mat has helped to prevent any further damage. I only wish that the drainage hole was put alongside one of the mats corners since my old cabinets have a piece of wood in the middle that divides both doors and unfortunately it prevents easy access to the drainage hole. I have to pull the mat out from one of the cabinet doors in order to drain out the mat instead of how those with newer cabinets are able to just easily slide their mats slightly towards them to drain. Regardless of the drainage hole issue, the mat is still of great quality and the silicone material is thick and has some nice weight to it, and the mat is also relatively easy to clean. The size of the mat is pretty large and it nearly covers the entire surface area underneath my kitchen sink. I recommend buying one if you're also dealing with leaks under the kitchen sink this thing is definitely saving me some $$$ on further repairs and remediations.

I must have very odd sized cabinets in my home as everyone is less than 22 inches deep. I did end up putting this in our guest bath and just folded the back up a little bit. I really like the lip around the whole thing as that will help keep the water on the mat.Not really sure what the drain hole is as it is positioned right behind the center brace of the two doors.
