Bamboo Bed Tray with Phone Holder, Extra Large Lap Desk for Laptops up to 17.3 Inches – Natural – Style No. 78107

I needed a workstation I could use at home while I was recovering from ankle surgury, so something with clearance for me to elevate my leg was necessary. This fit nicely, with my "knife hand" picture showing the clearance between the tray and my leg on the bed. From the beginning, it was packaged well beyond what I expected, with thick foam for each corner, and cellophane wrapped inside the box. The legs unfolded easily, but are only friction locked, so time will tell if they need to be tightened to keep them folded when I want it flat. The tray maintains a nice flat bottom with the legs folded, if that matters to you. I use a Dell Precision M6600 17" laptop, which fit nicely on this tray, with enough clearance in back for the power cable to plug in without being strained. The power cable does overhang the lip designed for proping up your tablet or phone, but doesn't make contact while connected; barely. I imagine it would be very easy to use a drill to create a cutout for lower cable connection requirements. There is plenty of room for side connections, end more than enough room for a coffee cup when I moved it to one side. I very much appreciate the lower lip on the front of the tray since the last one I used was higher than the wrist rest on my laptop, and left a painful crease on the bottom of my wrists after use. My thinnest Asus laptop still clears the front lip with plenty of room to avoid that problem with this tray. I can't tell if it is sealed, or if it would leak of I spilled something on the tray, but the fittings look tight enough that I am not really worried about it yet. The back lip for propping up your tablet or phone was open enough to accept my phone with a thick Otterbox, so I imagine it will accept most tablets as well. The tray feels sturdy overall, appears well made, and is quite light. The legs are on phillips screw hinges, and appear to be easy to adjust/tighten if necessary. I gave the durability rating 5 stars for these reasons, but will come back to adjust if something changes my mind. I'm very happy with this product initially, and glad I bought this one. Enjoy!

I bought this as a gift for my husband but now I'm kinda jealous and want to use It, LOL. The wood is stained beautifully and the legs fold in/out easily and feels very sturdy. The phone holder has the be my husbands favorite feature, as he loves to watch videos while eating, and the size is very generous for larger dinner plates, and disperses weight evenly.

I originally purchased this because I like to work while sitting on my bed, so I needed something that brought my laptop to a comfortable height. It turned out to be a lucky purchase, because the week it arrived, I came down with COVID and was hardly able to get out of bed for a week. I used this desk CONSTANTLY--to help me sit up and eat more comfortably, to keep my water and medicine accessible since I sleep on a floor futon, to raise my laptop so I could see the screen and watch shows while lying down, etc. It really does everything I need it to. I was a bit worried it would be made out of poor-quality wood or particle board or something, but it seems to be solid wood and it certainly smells like natural wood, which is absolutely delightful. The color is lovely too. It was definitely worth the price, because I'm going to be using it for a long time!

Very beautiful trays made entirely of bamboo, especially the tray part, that has been stained a cool toned walnut color. This is actually what drew me to this item, is the fact that it didn't include MDF, press board, or particle board. Pictures show it being much more warmer than it is, more like a mahogany. It is not. It is a medium to dark stain. The legs are attached with Phillip head screws to allow tightening if they are loose. The previous trays reowned just had rivets and did not allow for tightening, and one of the trays that was bamboo except for the actual tray part itself which was printed on MDF board. Be warned though, that the due lots vary greatly and there is a good chance that by ordering two, they will not at all look alike. Maybe this is a good thing to identify ones own tray from another. I personally wanted them to match, but it is what it is

Got this for mother's Day. Love it. Has a great little groove at the top for holding an iPad to read/watch while eating breakfast in bed. Sturdy legs and handles. Perfect if convalescing.

This table is great!! Look no further - buy this table. It arrived in perfect condition. It is lightweight and very sturdy. It’s spacious surface provides room for whatever you need. I especially love that it folds flat making it easy to store.
