I'm very pleased with this pomade. It's substantial, yet lightweight, easy to apply and has a firm, yet not overly so, hold. The scent is pleasant, yet subtle and provides a slight shine to my hair. It's easily washable and it's something that doesn't even seem like is there, yet functions perfectly. The container also has a quality look and feel to it. This product makes me want to try their other offerings such as shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommended.

I like how the product is applied and the fragrance is very pleasant.However, the jar that holds the product is not made correctly and doesn't seal.

Great hold, soft hair

I like the hold that this paste provides, and the scent is pleasant, though a bit strong for my tastes. It goes on easy and does not make my hair "crunchy." The main issue I have with it is that the scent lingers. With most styling products I have used, the scent dissipates within a few minutes, but this one's scent stuck with me for hours.Other than that, the texture of this product is different: it is more of a liquid than many "styling pastes" I have used before. This one will not stay put in its jar if you turn it on its side: it WILL spill. So, it is less like the jars of Elmer's paste I used in school and more like papier-mâché paste.=== UPDATE Oct 4, 2023 ===I periodically update reviews if I think of something new. To be clear, nobody has asked me to update this review and I am keeping the stars at the original 4-star rating.I live in the desert and when this stuff shipped, I am sure that the high temperature played a part in the "loose texture" issue I mentioned. Since then, the product has become more solid and less likely to spill. In fact, I appreciate the more viscous texture (vs. the "paste" of other types) for filling to-go containers for travel. While I have to scoop others out with a spoon and jam them into the travel containers, this stuff flows a bit and fills up the containers more easily/completely.

Love it, struggled to find something that doesn't make my hair look greasy but also let's it flow while keeping some stability. This stuff is awesome, I use a bit more than I would with others since it spreads so evenly and only grabs just enough to hold your hair (similar to how it styles when it's damp). Give it a shot if you're trying to find something to give you that surfer/wavy style

this product smells so good. it works good as well. it’s nice because it’s smaller so it’s easy to travel with. it’s a light weight gel and holds hair good. reduces frizz.

Was looking for a high hold and no shine. This wasn’t as firm of a hold as expected and had more shine than expected. Probably would classify it more as medium hold, low-ish shine.
