Half the cost of competing products on Amazon and does the job very well. The only downside is if you use the ice pack then you can't see the temperature to know when you have to change over to electric, also you cannot use both simultaneously which would be nice. However I can understand that is not so easy to implement and for the cost I absolutely recommend it as I have only needed to use it with electric. It stays below 8°C, usually between 3 and 6°C when the outside temperature is around 30°C. Just one thing to note is that recently many airlines have banned the use of power banks on planes which has been a little inconvenient, however most planes have usb or power outlets which have worked fine for me. Just have to unplug during take-off/landing but that is not long and still stays relatively cool which should be fine for most uses.

I have trialled this now 4 times with the frozen gel pack to test before my travel and have achieved over 48hrs good temp control, well below 8C. Very effective. At 48hrs today my pencil thermometer which i placed inside was only at 7.1C. So I believe i may get a few more hours. Ambient temp was approximately 18C. no doubt with a warmer ambient temp, may be different, but thats when i can switch to batter powered. Definitely recommend this product against more expensive items on the market, great value for money. The only suggestion is to build a slightly bigger version.

Perfect for travelling with injections/biologics etc that need kept cool. Easy to use. Airport security friendly.

DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased this to hold meds for a long flight and overseas trip. It worked when tested in advance and apparently worked well for first 30 mins onboard. It then stopped working altogether. It had over £500 of jabs inside, at least half of which is potentially totally ruined and unusable now. 😡😡😡

a great way to keep medications chilled. I use a power pack in the outside pocket linked to the cooler by usb cable to keep it chilled

Ice packs expand in freezer making it very difficult to get pens in. Had to remove cap from pens to get lid on. Not sure I’ll use the cooler part, which made it very expensive. No way to transport cooler and ice pack + medication in one package. Needed urgently for a flight the next day otherwise would have returned for refund

Got this for a trip abroad in 28-30 degree temps. Seems to be working well as long as u use the supplied type c cable. Tried other cables and none work, so make sure u used supplied cable. Freezer pack only lasted 20 hours before insulin returned to room temp.

When the unit gets down to its lowest temperature the display keeps going wonky and flashing/blinking all randomly not allowing you to see what temperature it is, not exactly helpful

Not happy. I bought this for an overseas trip to keep my medication cold, I thought having a usb powered mini fridge would make life easier. When it arrived, I tested it and it seemed to work. Now I’m packing it for my trip, and when plugged in the display just flashes and nothing happens, no cooling at all! What a waste, I’ll just go with a normal cooler bag, and I won’t have to worry about an electronic device not working.

This has made my travel much easier and less stressful. I don't have to worry now about keeping my medication cold especially for long layovers or if I don't have access to a fridge. It's a bit big for my needs hence the 4 instead of 5 stars but love it.

Lo mejor es que llevando el enfriador adicional, evitas problemas viajando por el extranjero, donde a veces lo de que haya una neverita (funcionando) en la habitación es mas cuestion de suerte que otra cosa. Aquí es donde entra el enfriador USB, que es eficaz para mantener la temperatura mientras haya alimentación y no tienes que dejar tu medicación en la recepción de un hotel de Uzbekistán, donde de seguro son muy honrados pero vaya usted a saber que puede pasar con tu insulina. El único problema es que no trae termómetro integrado en el modo botella y que hay que cargar con el alimentador eléctrico (si quieres mantener los dos sistemas, el clásico de botella y el eléctrico) pero aunque este es un tanto aparatoso, no es demasiado complicado llevarlo. El modo eléctrico es relativamente silencioso y si el avión tiene puertos USB va sin problema, pero si no los tiene, sin electricidad la temperatura de dentro sube muy rápido. Siempre se puede tirar del power bank pero en un vuelo de 14 horas es mejor fiar de la botella de toda vida. Por lo demas, el termo pasa sin problemas por los controles de seguridad. De momento una buena compra, a la que solo le falta el termómetro en la configuración "clásica" para ser perfecta.
