loopback button is the biggest selling point.
Loopback button is really convenient so you dont have to mess with software, just dial in the volumes, push the button, and your mic and pc audio stream perfectly. Returning to just mic, click the button, done. Nice mute button, and has a decent reverb effect. It's pretty quiet, but compared to other interfaces its just tad bit noisier but its not too big of an issue if you dial it in correctly. The software was too much trouble to deal with so I just uninstalled and dont bother with the eq as it gets too noisy and the software keeps trying to take over and make things sound bad by remembering settings and such. They seem to not even have the correct software as I think it was designed for the mk1. All in all its a super convenient mixer that i switched to and prefer over audient evo 8 and focusrite 2i2 for the simple fact that I use loopback a lot and only require the one input and sound quality remained pretty decent comparibly. I love it and it made my life a lot easier when streaming. I would prefer other interfaces if you're into music production however as the drivers aren't great and I get a bit more sound quality and lower noise from other devices, but it would probably be sufficient in some respects.

Great for podcasts
This mixing board is a total game changer for my podcast. The gain and limit settings have allowed me to cut off low volume sounds, such as my breathing sound, and it also eliminated clipping of loud sounds. The sound from the inputs mixes flawlessly. It's an easy plug-and-play solution for getting good quality sound into Audacity, or any other computer recorder.

Mute buttons dont work.
This is a great board, very highly functional but the mute buttons simply dont cut the input. I doubt very much this is user error.

Favorite purchase
This is amazing. fixed my music recording problems. It’s so easy to use and compatible with so many different products. The headphone connecting to the interface delivers very good. Sound quality when you’re recording or listening to yourself you can easily use that with iPhones with a USB-C adapter. Great purchase I have recorded multiple videos and posted in my channel.

Great for live performances
I play keys in a classic rock band and have been using a small submixer to sum the output of 2 keyboards. I have started using iOS virtual instruments and needed a USB audio interface, but didn't want another piece of equipment on stage. This mixer fits my needs beautifully. I use the internal sounds of my top keyboard sometimes and also use it as a MIDI controller for the virtual instruments. The controls of the AG06 Mk II make it easy to switch between the keyboard's native sounds and iOS virtual instruments using the internal interface. The only additional feature I wish it had would be a separate volume control for the main outputs, which go to the front of house PA. However, it really is not a limitation because our sound guy can control my volume on the main board. The mixer does have a volume pot for the monitor outputs, which I connect to a small powered speaker as a personal monitor. The output is pristine, much better than the previous audio interface I had been using, which introduced hiss and buzz. The AG06 made my virtual piano apps sound much more realistic. I can power it using a 10,000 mAh power bank via a USB C hub connected to my iPad Pro, eliminating the need for a wall wart. I don't use the microphone inputs, but it's nice to know they are there if i need them. If you are a live player with similar needs, buy this mixer!

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with the product. Box opened and torn. Did not come with any paper inside, manual or license of app.The mixer It has a very low sound and makes a lot of noise, even using a SM58 Shure microphone and also Shure headphone. All volume on maximum and even through sound too low.Why Yamaha quality team didn’t test the device before shipping?I waited one week for this device and the disappointment was huge.I hope only this device are bad because the Yamaha quality is very good.I wait a quick replacement,

GREAT value and a perfect blend of old school and modern features
I looked long and hard for a mixer to do a very, very, very basic duty:Mix a live microphone signal with a line-level recorded audio source, and send the mixed line-level signal to a power amplifier. I also require 48 volt phantom power for a Shure SM58 micriphone. The Yamaha AG03MK2 does all this perfectly, AND it adds the capability to work as a USB-connected audio interface if needed, although a USB connection is NOT requiredThis is a great blend of classic old-school analog functionality that can step into the future. My ONLY complaint about this is that it requires a USB-C power supply input; I wish it could plug into a regular 120 VDC outlet. However for the price, $139 in early 2025, I don't have any concerns. This thing is a fantastic value and I would EASILY buy it again.Thank you Yamaha!
