Amazingly Versatile and Easy to Use
I once watched a guy build an entire house with a knife like this, and now I understand how he did it. This pruning saw is a dream to use—smooth, efficient, and reliable. The SK5 curved blade makes cutting effortless, whether it’s tree branches or quarter-inch boards. It never catches, and the curved design really helps with precision. The folding feature is super convenient for storage and portability, and the length feels just right for a variety of tasks. It’s sturdy, sharp, and versatile enough for everything from gardening to camping. I absolutely love it! Highly recommend this for anyone who needs a reliable tool for trimming, cutting, or outdoor work.

Great little pruning saw
Especially for the money, great little saw. Very sharp blade and so it made short work of the job I needed to do. Nice folding action!

Good quality, Reasonably priced.
I was hesitant at first to purchase this saw because of its very reasonable price. I used the saw today to do some Spring pruning and it worked just fine. It cut well and was comfortable to hold. The quality looks good but only time will tell.

Great value!
Great saw! I run a group of trail maintenance volunteers and we love these saws. Inexpensive so I don’t need to worry about losing one but cuts very efficiently. The curved blade helps it cut more efficiently without getting hung up. Folds easily so we can ride with it in our packs.

Great saw!
I bought a few of both 8" and 10" to test during a workday on a native prairie remnant with several volunteers. First, I though I may have found gold, only to find out that many of the very experienced volunteers already knew how great these are. In the same kind of work and random other uses such as trail riding, camping and a host of other uses making these a staple in basic gear.My observation as soon as I got them was the 8" is a stiffer blade, and although the same thickness the 10" had more flex, more than I'd expect. That doesn't mean it's not a great saw, but the 2" difference doesn't matter when doing the same work. I used the 8" and first, it was great to be able to quickly fold it up and stow it in pocket while doing something else, then quickly grab and back to cutting. I could almost flip it open like a switchblade. We we cutting a lot of woody invaders to the prairie (surrounded by development) and this saw got the job done. I'd been using my old stationary, much longer blade and this was awesome. I retired the old saw. What was being cut ranged from soft to hard wood, some dried and burned and hard!I'm going to return a 10" (because I tossed the packaging for the 2nd) only because the size of the 8" is easier to handle and it can cut anything that a 10" could, and the shorter size makes it a little more stable when working pretty quick. At the currently $8, the 8" is a bargain. It also appears to be the same knife as a name brand sold on Amazon and in local hardware/garden centers without the brand name. You can't go wrong with either, but the 10" won't cut anything more than the 8" can, and I found the 8" is more stable. And compared to the standard large, non-folding saw, like my old trusty one, this 8" is a lot more productive and compact to make the work go faster.

So handy and safe
What I like the best is the ability to close it and avoid getting accidentally cut. It has a good weight and being new, is sharp. Great for those branches that sneak into the driveway.

8", 10" or 12". They're all good saws. Don't need name brand saws
Update 1/31/25I have found that 8" saw is most people will need to cut branches up to 5" or even 7" with a good strategy.Update 1/18/25This review is for the 10" version (I have returned the 12" due to it has the same blade thickness with the 10" version, just 2" longer (also 2" longer for the handle) this makes it less stable.) I just cut a maple log 8.5" in diameter 1 hour before this writing. It took me 20minutes to do so (with break) . This is phenomenon for a 65 year old man with a chronic disease (I could do it in 5 min in my better days.) I will try out the 8" version tomorrow when it arrives.Update 1/17/25:I used this 12" saw for the first time. I cut 8" maple tree fell across the trail into 3 sections (with easy). Also cut several branches but these are nothing. Now I decide to keep this saw and return the 20" one.I have pole saw and a fixed pull saw (10") with blades similar to this one. I love to use both of them around my yard because they are very effective cutters. I bought this saw hoping that It could be used to clear out my bike trail from branches. Upon receiving the saw, I found that the blade is very thin and weak compared to other saws which I have. This cheap saw could be OK for light duty works if it is handled withcare. (cut only on pull with little pressure.)
